Hero in BB - 2000ish - 10s87Qs
V1 - MP - Asian middle aged guy, never played with him before but doesnt seem to mind chasing draws all the way. 1500
V2 - Button - Younger white guy - 2000 - Nothing special, usually shows up with exactly what i think he has.

There was a button straddle to 10, so i call the 10, V1 calls 10, 2 other callers, v2 (staddle on button) makes it 70 on button. I call, V1 calls.

Flop is Js9s2x

I check, v1 checks, v2 makes it 125, me and v1 call.

turn 3x, checks again to v2 on button who makes it 400, i debate raising, but call with a pumpkin ... v1 thinks i made it 1000 to go, debates folding, but calls once he gets clarification that i only flatted. At this point i have him on nut flush draw and i have button on overpair or top two.

River 2x, I pot with my q high....

Is this an awful spot for this play?

Yes. Everything missed and it's more likely a missed combo draw than anything.

you have like top 0.1% hand on the "easy to play" scale - pot the flop, shove the turn

If i were the villain with aa or w/e i would expect you to make some noise prior to the river if you had a full house draw. As played your hand looks like what it is, and a thinking player would probably call here. Worse than that, an unthinking player is absolutely calling...

It's very rarely I can say this but I think you played every street of this hand poorly. I open pre. if I dont open pre I c/r or lead flop. If i play flop like this I c/r turn. If i dont do any of those I give up river. Doesn't v1 only have like $200 left OTR anyways??? what would you not GII OTT that's a made hand OTR? like bottom 2 open ender or something?

Agree with above. Pot the flop. The flop has a decent chance of hitting your range (and it did) so why get too cute?

This is not a horrible play -after some thought- This is why. Are you most likely to lose the last bet? Yes.

However, if you make sure the table knows you missed, it may help you out in future play.

The conservative-and correct- play is to give up because

1. 1 of the 2 opponents will call.

2. The only hand you're representing (as played) is A2s (and most likely one of villains has ace spades) or backdoor boat.

3. Saves you money.

With so much money in the pot, a call is on the way. Plus, if v1 does have aces, he's going to call hoping v2 has QJ and you missed. AA is not folding there with board pairing, especially after putting 1000 in on the turn.

Even in a 3 way draw battle, they would both have to have complete air to fold. The big action on the turn suggests otherwise.

As others have said. You are not repping a boat here for obv reasons. Also your reads are terrible. With that said, you are trying to rep a 2 here.... not many ppl play with 2x so if I was v2 I'd snap you off with any overpair here....
