5/10 6max turn spot vs passive dude

Villain is 45/9 40% steal OTB, passive for these stakes postflop, pretty sure he'd check back his draws and bet the hands he should bet on the turn if checked to. He's not folding KK here, no idea what he does with AQxx to a turn barrel.'

Grabbed by Holdem Manager
PL Omaha $10(BB) Replayer
Hero ($1,079)
BB ($549)
UTG ($4,114)
CO ($1,230)
BTN ($1,001)

Dealt to Hero K 8 T Q

fold, fold, BTN raises to $35, Hero raises to $115, fold, BTN calls $80

FLOP ($240) 2 9 Q

Hero bets $180, BTN calls $180

TURN ($600) 2 9 Q 2

Hero? $706 left to bet.

i really don't like c/f here :P
the worst thing u could run to is KK with spades since he would raise AsQXsX on the flop

would be amazed if someone makes me believe this is a check/fold vs any type of villain

Yeah just jam it in we're gonna feel pretty silly if we induce vs AQ/KK.

The only reason to make it 215 would be to balance our bluffs, and we can do this when we actually have monsters here, rather than this hand.

If we would generally try to get villian to induce by betting small we should definitely bet small to try to get villian to think we are trying to get him to induce and have him fold. The real question is do we want villian to think we are stronger or weaker than we are?

Probably not inducing a passive guy to jam anything here he didn't raise flop with...

Definitely in the >400 / call camp here.

Just shove it in, if he does have KK it's w/o a draw and you are plenty live, he's not stacking naked AQ and you want him to fold it as you do his flush draws, JT97 hands etc.

Yeah, I'd bet $350 just to protect our hand since we can't fold and we don't wanna let him have a free card to live draws.

My motto in spots like this is if I can't be in terrible shape, then bet

If we're bet/calling why shouldn't we bet pot/close to pot instead of betting 400 or 350?
