This is a very common spot, but I want to know what the good players here do on this type of flop with AA+bad gutter. My standard is b/c, is this spewy? On the other hand, I c/f or b/f on 89Q.

After I bet, I need 35.5% to call and break even. I don't know if the following is too tight a range for my opponent, but for the sake of an example, I have 34.5% vs [9***,TJQ*, 79T*].

I don't really have much on this opponent as I joined to table like 20 hands or so ago.

If he's reasonable aggressive you need to call this for sure imo.

do you really want to give him the chance to get a free card on this board?

it's easier to play the hand if you plan to c/r flop most of the time. If the turn is a diamond or str8 completer, it's a pretty ez check fold. if its a blank or a board pairer you can bet, and most of the time on the flop he pots/ has to get it in.

i dont think this is a good c/r spot against someone who knows when to cb
