3/6 HU - deep turn decision

Villain doesn't always spaz out but if your range is capped, he loves to attack lots of boards where textures change.

"3barrel jt96ds on a25fd, pot 8 turn, 3/4 5 riv pretty fast"

Pretty aggro on flop and turns, 84% cbet, 56% turn cb, cr flop 23%

I haven't been in this type of spot yet. I've seen him slowplay once where he cback'd the turn with a boat.

If we call, are we c/fing all clubs?
what are we doing on a 3589T river?

Do we like jamming at all incase he's semibluffing?

I like a call here and then obviously shoving any pairing river, c/c most other nonclub rivers. Villain doesn't expect you to be very strong here.

non-pot raise kinda polarises his range, would not expect to see him show up with 789xcc type hands that often

Definitely seeing the river here. Think checking every river card is better than leading at the pairs.

Very close betweem shoving and calling and then c/calling blanks, pairs, c/folding clubs and c/deciding 5's, 8s' 9's and T's. Without reads I probably just shove.

Agree with TGSM, hes very polarized between nuts, nuts+, 789cc, and rarely has air here.

Jamming is pretty bad here, we are 260bb deep! And on avg, Villians equity is very good vs us. Gotta peel and evaluate river, likely folding a lot of cards. Leading paired boards just depends on how much credit we are giving his turn raise, becuase hes likely checking back all his staright/flushes on paired rivers. I think I prefer leading paired rivers, I just cant see him bluffing enough.

thats not what i meant with polarised, I mean he rarely has 789xcc but more often has nuts/2nd nuts/set + nfd or something v. weak

Yea I miss read your quote, 789ccc is going to be a pretty small part of his range anyways, i obv still agree with what you are saying.

Re: 3/6 HU - deep turn decision

Turn's a clear, clear call. River's way too much of a weird, game-flow dependent, bet-sizing dependent spot for me to say what to do on blank rivers ahead of time. Sizing's suspiciously small on the turn and makes me think he might have blockers, but the line still looks pretty strong, and if it's not blockers, I think it's the nuts ~90% of the time.
