I'd probably fold just because he c/r'd you last hand, but peeling isn't bad. You can fill up, make a non-nut straight and have two back doors to fall back on.

Ah jeah we have two pair. I think with two pair a check behind is ok but I hate it if we would do this with one pair as he might have 4 overcards and just hit one of them what would suck very much as he will fold it to a flop bet.

I'm checking this back almost always. There's no real value in betting. It's not like he's gonna check/call with 87xx/96xx or something similar. If I chose to bet though, I'm not letting it go right now. There's plenty behind to maneuver on the turn. Yet the optimal play is checking it back.

Why? And how do you respond to a C/R?

Still not convinced why. FWIW I used to mash pot here all day when I started PLO but when I started thinking more about the game I started checking back in these spots.

Everyone seems to agree wholeheartedly that this is an easy bet, but when villain check/raises most of you either have no plan whatsoever or a bad plan (like bet/folding which has to be awful with a hand with this much potential, or bet/3bet which has to be spewy if we're not facing a lagtard or having some pretty wild dynamics).
