Villain is a reg running at 25/16/6 over 700 hands with a 15% raise from UTG. I've played more hands with him before but new DB so hence the small sample.

Villain is a creative player capable of making moves but is very smart/solid player. He's also called me down lightly a few spots where i was polarized but never seen him run big bluffs.

everything is standard until he check raises me on the river. the situation is just so odd i don't run into very often. i believe he is capable of just flatting non premium Aces oop so i'm inclined to fold here. it could also be 88. thoughts?

You've got such a strong range, I cant see how vilain could try to bluff you there... I guess you should just fold even if it feels gross.

Btw: how often do we expect to get lead into with the nuts otf? I'd assume it should happen quite a bit as V2 is deep.

its such an easy fold, your line screams AA/KK on every street so no-one is going to bluff here or certainly not often enough to be even close to warrant a call.

I don't really understand everybody saying that hero's line looks exactly like AA/KK. Sure, Hero probably plays it this way typically, but that certainly doesn't close this range…
