MP: $332.39 (33.2 bb)
CO: $1,723.79 (172.4 bb)
Hero (BTN): $1,254.50 (125.5 bb)
SB: $1,532.82 (153.3 bb)
BB: $677.37 (67.7 bb)
UTG: $798 (79.8 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with 5 K 2 K
3 folds, Hero raises to $35, SB folds, BB calls $25

Flop: ($75) 6 2 3 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $47.50, BB calls $47.50

Turn: ($170) J (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks

River: ($170) 5 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $150, BB raises to $594.87 and is all-in, Hero?

Should we be betting this turn? Kinda awkward stack sizes if we get x/r'd

If you're split between calling and folding and you hold the second nuts, then calling is usually the answer.

More specifically, I'd consider turning any hand with the As in it into a x/r river bluff. Like if I hold A Q 6 5, I'd definitely check jam against someone capable of folding.

If you're betting flop, you should continue on the turn. As played, I call river.

There is a very narrow and defined range of bb's continuing hands that prefer c/c flop to leading.

So you don't think I get x/r'd on this turn much at all? Should I be leading or x/r'ing all my naked 45's on this flop in villain's spot?

I doubt you ever get x/raised on turn in this spot. If Im villain and my plan is to x/call flop with 45 or set... I'm probably leading out on the turn. I'm leading on the flop if I'm villain 90% of time as naked AA could get away from hand on x/raised flop alot of the time.

keep in mind it's an anon site and villain has a less than full stack so we can't necessarily give him credit for having a big leading range otf.

op, after betting flop i think continuing on turn is probably best. and probably a close to pot/pot sizing.

on river, i think it's pretty close bc now you've given him a great spot to bluff with the naked ace and his line is consistent with some unpaired nfd hand on flop. however i think more often than not he ends up having it here so i make a crying fold.
