6-max on tilt, sb is sunra18, a very good player in this game imo. Not a lot of history, but he knows I can bluff and has shown he can call down light if he thinks im full of it.

Eff stacks 5k.

Hero xxxx button to 150, sunra and bb call. Flop JJ5 hh checked through. Turn 7h sunra leads 400, bb calls, I make it 1,7k. Sunra calls bb folds. River is 3x, sunra checks. Pot is 4,2k and I have 3k behind.

1) Do you consider any other bet-size than push?

2) Do you consider bluffing (how often?) if you got there with air (Ahx or whatever)?

3) What is the worst hand you will value-bet always? Some hands you will bet for value sometimes? Thanks.

1) No
2) No
3) What will SB be calling a big raise on the turn with? King-high flush minimum imo. Probably going to call the river almost always. Obviously his range goes all the way up to quads, so if you're better than halfway up this range, you can value bet. I think value bet sevens full or better.

What are you repping here? I don't ever take this line with a real hand, so I'm not taking it as a bluff against "a very good player" who "has shown he can call down light if he thinks I'm full of it".

The only way you're getting a fold here is if he has a jack that called to draw and missed, but I don't see his line being consistent with that at all. Why is a jack checking the flop and then leading for ~90% of the pot when the flush comes? I guess you could run into low flush with a jack maybe 10% of the time or so, but I don't think you're against something you can bluff anywhere near enough to make betting the river profitable.

1. No
2. Very rarely in general, and never vs this guy
3. valuebet J5+ always; J3,77,55,33 and even K-hi flush all depends on villain and game flow. vs him chk behind 77 prob best but close

Forgot about 77. I guess there is one hand I take this line with. Still, unless you have a super-nitty image, I don't like this turn bluff at all. And once he calls that, it's definitely time to shut down on the river.

1) Yes
2) No
3) I'd valuebet 77+ always. If I'm valuebetting weaker, I'd have to know more. I think I can vbet as thin as the NF in some situations against some players. I doubt I go much thinner than that.

So Im sure sunra leads that turn 3-ways with weak holdings as well, and bb prolly doesnt have too much, so bluffing turn could work for hero here I guess. I did have the hand that seems likely, 77. And yea I don´t think I would ever bluff the river, but if he can call like that with nutflush or 55 then dunno if it would be okay.

When sunra flatted the raise I was confused, that has to be a pretty awfull spot to call 1/3 of stack second to last to act with some weakish holding.

On river I pushed after his check and he flipped J7. Sidecards were below 7 too, so nice play from him. I´m still not sure I love the river push or even the turn raise. Thanks for replies.

I think the turn raise is good. The chances of his having a better hand (i.e. J5 - usually folded pre-flop, J7 less likely since only one 7 is out) are low. The river doesn't change much so I still think betting the river is good. Just a cooler basically... rebuy and thank the poker gods you were only 100 BB deep.

Oh, somehow by xxxx, I thought you meant that you had nothing rather than that you just weren't telling us your cards. Yeah, how thin to value-bet's a pretty read dependent spot, but I'm not checking 77 behind ever with this action unless I have a super ninja read or something. It's just a matter of whether a 1/2 pot bet or a shove is more likely to get action.
