Re: 25/50 river?

I was unaware that you have been "spamming" multiple threads. If you want some poker advice, take it here- instead of snap reacting angrily to his statement, try to sit back and contemplate why is he actually saying that

I think this is a case of 'not sure if trolling or retarded', and toocool has been mistakenly accused of the former

Re: 25/50 river?

Question is "how this spot should be played with our range"

And anwser is not with donk & not with pot ~that often

so taking the most obvious hand that "wants to donk pot" is ~not good @ first level of serious poker.

But still pot flop & pot turn can be most optimal in this spot vs opponent.

i dont think posting hands where "correct play" is reverse & Question is about the 4th level decision of what it builds up , and is ~semi trivial. is ~worthy

discussion should be about "readless poker" or factorisations given in op . debate & "oppinions" respected & cherished.

This is a place for OBJECTIVITY, TRUTH & OPPINIONS & DEBATE, not place to talk down on people / get the ego feel goods ~without actually giving anything / telling anything worth the "respect" of what we think we are getting.

+1 for 4betting at least ~33% of the times

Re: 25/50 river?

I'm in the fold pre and lead flop camps. I just don't see how this is a good hand to play OOP when we have no idea how many players will be in the pot, and I'm anything but nitty preflop in 6-max.

On the flop, we have to expect kimokh to C-bet this like never without something he's willing to stack off with. I mean, I haven't played with him since before Black Friday, but I remember him being a lot more aggressive pre than post, and this is a spot where most people check back all their misses. Also, I think the lead looks a little more like a draw than a made hand to most people, so it's an added bonus that we get to misrepresent our hand.

River's a fold. Most hands with decent SD value would shove the turn, and there's no way a high enough percentage of draws missed for us to call the river if we know he was drawing on the turn. Shoving the river trying to get straights to fold is pretty ambitious, need someone pretty tight to give it serious consideration.

Re: 25/50 river?

like flop donk - wouldn't pot though

I actually don't mind the flop lead
I like a turn C/R
Check river and pray.........

Re: 25/50 river?

Aight, I actually still think river is a shove, range wise. There's a lot more made hands that could take this line and more profitably c/c the river, and naked Q9 seems better for bluffing than bluff catching. We could obv. also just c/f, and given iggymcfly's description of villain it might be better. I thought villain had fairly few flushes in his range, but this type of villain might have a higher percentage (but def. a bunch of straights, which should be folding to a river shove, though).

Hello HSPLO people. :-) Just wondering what percentile of PLO pre-flop hands (for playability in 100bb poker, not all-in equity, of course, lol) people think that KQ97ds is at? (i.e. 2222 is at 0 and AAKKds & AAJTds are at 100.) TIA :-D

Re: 25/50 river?

kinda like the flop lead. Think the best vacum line is to c/R turn, think villain just stabs to much when chckd to here, overpairs+++

as played I think id look him up, since i expect him to raise so many flush draws otf included AA**, KK** AK** w/fds and rd's w FD/s(which almost have backup everytime) ==> think the villain is empty/blocker heavy here alot. I dont think this villain is the type to turn two pair+ into bluffs on the river here... I kinda like shoving the river as a bluff aswell, but not vs the specific villain
