As taken from Jeff Hwang's book. What are you guys general thought on this. Say a hand like AdKd 7s8s.

My second question, which relates to the title, happened to me today in live 3-5 plo and wanted to know if you guys would call pre or muck this hand ?

Full ring live 3-5, 1 raise in ep, 4 callers, I look down at KcJc 4d5d. Are we calling or folding this in this loose game ?

Same question with KcJc 4d5d, lets say there are no callers facing an abc villain and we are on the button ? How about in the blinds ?

In loose games with every pot going multi way you'd prefer to be playing suits higher than 5.

The button is where I'll play marginals such as above. And AdKd 7s8s is obv. much better because of its nuttiness.

Would you play K4o, K5o, J4o, J5o in this position in holdem? Four of your six combos are trash.

Change the hand to KcJc Qd5d, now you have KJs, KQo, QJo as ok combos, and Q5s as meh combo, and K5o, J5o as ****ty combos. I would play this hand in position.

Fold that hand early, if guys in blinds like to fold alot on flop then raise 2222 on btn for max value lol

jokes aside, i think it's much more +EV playing more connected hands to get in dominating situations against monkeys who regularly stack off with weak draws etc
