1K: the world vs x/r: flat or get in?

Villains a newer reg i only have 1.5k hands on him and most of them have been the last 2 days at 400plo. peels a bit light in 3b bet pots seems somewhat snug/ abc.

has a very limited donking game so he may be x/r hands that should be donked this deep or hands like QJ+Ac type hands/ 99/9t+lower draws, but he seems solid enough not to be raising 99 type hands here.

sb here is a nit short stacker, perhaps has a few clubs in his flatting range. flatted pre because of fishy people left to act

[converted_hand][hand_history]Cake Poker, $5/$10 Pot Limit Omaha Cash, 6 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

Hero (MP): $1,558.85 (155.9 bb)
CO: $750.99 (75.1 bb)
BTN: $368.88 (36.9 bb)
SB: $2,012.38 (201.2 bb)
BB: $501.33 (50.1 bb)
UTG: $969.82 (97 bb)

Preflop: Hero is MP with Q K J K
UTG raises to $22.50, Hero calls $22.50, CO folds, BTN calls $22.50, SB calls $17.50, BB folds

Flop: ($100) 9 T 2 (4 players)
SB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets $72, BTN calls $72, SB raises to $334

Thoughts on options here? how do we rate flatting vs pot 3betting? any merit to 3betting smaller? Feels like shipping lets him play closer to perfect, but theres def an equity edge v some of his x/r hands

oh oh oh oh oh

I know the answer to that one

You can also call and jam on every turn, which I slightly prefer

if i call---i dont think jamming any turn i dont hit is the answer if he leads turn---if he checks to me tho, ya i jam turns

obv its a std jam 100bb deep, this deep tho i think he can fold some hands i dont want him to

Haha I always catch myself singing that song when I'm having a particularly successful session.

Re: 1K: the world vs x/r: flat or get in?

normally 3bet a little smaller than pot, about 750-900.

since sb is a nit, i'm more likely to call and let him take a shot at it on turn. spr is going to be close enough to 1.0 after flatting that it doesnt really matter, if you want to get money in after the turn you will likely get callers.

and anyway, i want to play this hand vs as many people as possible, so induce the btn to call too.

I feel like he meant to say BTN is a nit shortstacker, because SB is sitting pretty deep which is fairly incongruent with 'nitty shortstacker'. The new reg should be SB.

you`re flipping vs set....
you`re flipping vs pair+nfd....
you have 70-80% vs wraps....

a shove might fold out bottom set...

shove and be happy about it....flating is clearly second best

I pot here all the time, although I could be convinced flat is better. Also why no 3-bet pre?
