100/100/100 - 100k pot river spot

Hero: 60k
Villian: 100k
Bb: 30k

Game is 7 handed but other stacks make no difference.
Game is 100/100/100

Hero: Ah3h4cJc

Villian limps utg. Hero limps from mp. Sb checks. Bb raises it 600. Straddle folds. Hero and villian call and sb folds.

Flop: 9h6c4h

Bb checks. Villian bets 1800. Hero call. Bb calls

Turn: 9h6c4h Ac

Bb checks. Villians bets 6k. Hero raises to 24k. Bb folds. Hero calls.

River: 9h6c4h Ac Qd

Villain shoves. Hero ???

Villain is very good live PLO player. Aggressive but knows exactly what is going on in every hand. He views me as assgressive and would see me as the 2nd best player in the game.

Re: 100/100/100 - 100k pot river spot

Trying to analyze a specific case with generic ideas is only going to be a disaster. preflop ranges. flop tendencies, desperation bluffs all have to tell a story.

He likes hearts but doesnt have the nut draw. he then atleast likes clubs enough to continue past your raise. And yet he is unlikely to have the KKQQ hhcc or KQQx hhcc with his limp.(here is where one can be way off)

bottomline is that he doesnt have nut hearts and he needs atleast nut clubs to continue past the turn.

And if he doesnt shove turn, I cant believe he has any kind of showdown-able hand which he would c/c to allow you to bluff.

I'll hazard a guess and say that if you are beat it will be to a KcQcQX, and a call has to be based on simply on his preflop and flop tendencies.

Yea looks like KcQcQX. I'd be ready to get real mad once I called and lost though.

I dont play at these stakes, but how is raising turn bad ?
With 60xbb i think we have to raise the turn for value, We are only in bad shape against 99xx.

Ah3h4cJc 41.47% 248,823 0
99** 58.53% 351,177 0

Ah3h4cJc 60.86% 355,096 20,136
AKcQcJ 39.14% 224,768 20,136

.
sometimes live players like to wait for the draws to miss to stick their money in there, also he could be trying to rep a missed draw to get hero calls. either way he shouldn't be expecting you to fold to this line so i probably would. he is never doing it with worse for value obv. also, many live players have good hand reading abilities but terrible fundamentals (example hellmuth) so he could actually have AAxx here and when you raise the turn he knows its with a drawing-ish hand so he waits for a safe river to ship. either way he knows this line looks bluffy so he shouldn't be doing it with a hand that you beat

Strange pot. I was thinking of an advanced AQ value allin but there are no hand combinations possible for this.

Most likely hand would be some missed wrap but that would be such an obvious allin, mhhh. Maybe some history between you that makes the obvious move the good one!?

Or considering it was live poker he got some read, some reaction from you after the river card and based on this decided if his small set was good or not?

If not then it indeed looks like QQKK hitting.

There's like 1 exact 4 card combo for KKQQ and that's doublesuited, and villain limp-called pf. Stop putting people on hands they don't have
