Re: 10/20 river spot

i thought villain could call w hearts that turned 2weak pairs, like T2, T4, some K4, 84xx etc.

i checked, he check behind KQJJr... i think he would hero call my river shove given the way the board ran.

Re: 10/20 river spot

I'm potting turn with basically all of my betting range. Makes your hand so much easier to play and i think its more plus ev. Your never betting a weak hand on the turn here anyways, so why do you want to bet smallish?

well, theres some hands that im bet/folding on turn. is that wrong on a board w soooo many draws? i could bet/fold JT84ds w/o FD, AQQT and other stuff, maybe AATx. is this wrong?

btw ipoker has a 3/4pot button, i use a lot this button.

Re: 10/20 river spot

Its certainly not bad. I think most regulairs bet these spots a lot smaller then i do. But i kinda disagree. For your total betting range, you prefer a fold over a call, so how bad can it be to just pot your range on these drawy boards. Kinda similair to a nlh overbet pot theory spot i guess.

Against a very passive player i might bet-small and fold to a raise. But im rarely (if ever) bet folding this board vs a reg.

Re: 10/20 river spot

i like rupee's block bet here. i don't see why you need to balance with a lot of clubs though ? i do think you need to occasionally balance with a few clubs however. seems like this combination is a fine bet/fold, but try not to bet/fold too too much here, things can get dicey

@Sauce: How would you play turn?

@Joeri: I think Doorbread his question is pretty interesting, you could end up in a weird spot with some weaker hands you decide to pot. I guess when you pot you only need like 25% so you can just click call pretty easily.

Re: 10/20 river spot

I would just put it in, you're always good unless he backed into clubs, he'll play a lot better vs 500$ or a check than all in, so unless you can comfortably c/f and he's rarely calling worse to your shove I'd just go for the maximum ownage.
