Re: 10/20 deep 3bet pot, set, turn?
I have a hard time putting him on 6 8 here with your hand and the preflop action. Can you expect him to bet if checked to? If so, I think the best play here is to C/R his semi-bluff on the turn. If he checks behind we re-evaluate on the river and C/F an 8,9,Q,J.

Don't know villain to well. But if i am correct, he is more loose and agro (pre and post), then most regs. Besides that he doesnt like to fold right.
That said I feel that villain doesnt expect u to give up on the turn that often when u cb this flop, and check this turn(and if u dont xf, u prolly go for the xr from his point of view). Therefor I would expect him to checkback more often then desirable in this spot.
On the other hand this is a board he prolly likes to float/screw arround on(prolly even more induced by the flop sizing). So to give him, once again, some incentive(to put more $$ in with the weakest/widest range), I prefer betting the turn pretty small again.

Re: 10/20 deep 3bet pot, set, turn?
Can I ask a preflop question? That seems like a marginal 3-bet. You're going to play a pot OOP essentially 200 BBs deep against a "good thinking winning aggro". And if he's thinking, he's not getting jiggy preflop because the shortie button can 3-bet pre and shove the flop.
Is this a standard play?
Thanks, Lee

^ Think pre is standard (200 deep - becomes marginal/sometimes bad at 100bb tbl vs reasonably tight open %)
I think i'd just C/R, because he prob plays river's really well if you C/C -

^Imo double-paired hands are good to 3bet, when you flop a set, you're well disguised.
I'd bet something to get him to possibly bluff-raise, like over half the pot (obv I have no idea of your history, or the general play at these stakes).

Do these TAG regs at these games not try and protect their equity (prob lots of 2p type hands) here when a card that is seemingly better for CO's range hits the turn? + there is a decent chance we can get some action from TJQ type hands that want to stab, no?

I think from a range vs. range perspective this has to be a check. Flop sizing is not good imo.

If you don't 3bet this hand pre, you should 3bet 0% oop 200bb deep.
I like a turn c-r.

Re: 10/20 deep 3bet pot, set, turn?
Everyone has different gameplans with their barrelling frequencies oop in 3 bet pots, but im betting this turn every time (prob similar size to flop ~60-70% of pot).

u have a tough time putting him on a 6 8 here, but fold to 9,Q,J on river?
