5 PM, local casino, super loose table, stacks anywhere between 300 and 3000. Even though its technically 1/2 game, I can see everyone straddling UTG so the game is played almost like 5/5. Every pot is 25-60 to go pre, mostly old gamblers and a few well rolled regs.
V1 is a reg, 3betting alot pre he just won a huge pot with flopped 2 pair/FD/gutshot,
V2 crazy dude, calls anything for any amount pre flop
I wanted to 4bet pot to eliminate the amount of players in the hand. Since I was pretty sure V1 was going to pot his straddle, I just completed to 5 with intention to 4bet. In any other game I would pot it in BB.

HERO Seat 8: ($485 in chips)
V1 Seat 9: ($1350 in chips)
V2 Seat 3: ($~500)
Hero: posts big blind $2
V1 straddles UTG
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to Bimsky [7h Ah Qs Ac]
3 limpers, I call expecting V1 to 3bet his straddle
V1: raises $5 to $25
V2: calls, V3 and V4 call too
Hero: 4bets to 125, everyone calls
*** FLOP *** [Qc 4h 4c] ~625 $
I open shove OOP for the remaining 360
V1 thinks for a moment and reshoves, V2 tanks even longer and folds.

Thoughts? Pre and post flop?

Villain raises $5 to $25
WAT

Edit: ok you meant 15...
I really hate potting AAxx hands OOP this deep against opponents that you know will call light pre. I think once one person calls your going to see at least one more as you hand is virtually face up. There's really not a ton of flops that you can love but as played pre flop jam is obv the only action that makes sense. Only flop that I'm not jamming is like a monotone or a 987ss type thing.

I mean in the live games I play, this is the biggest exploitable move imo

To clear it up, he straddled UTG, so after he got 4 players to complete $5 I believe the max raise is $30. He made it $25 anyway. My point is that I was certain he would raise his straddle when it gets back to him, he has done it a few times before.

Hero has 100bb and 4bets pre and shoves flop and asks if that was good?

Does nobody just call V1 pre-flop?

I'm just learning this game but I thought the worst thing you could do with AA is get 25% of your stack in before the flop, which is what hero did here. I thought the idea was to get at least half of your stack in pre and shove any flop, and if you couldn't do that, get as little as possible in and see what the flop is.

What am I missing?

There are multiple fine options pre, since we think v1 will often pot it your line is probably best.

But taking that line pre you're jamming 95% of flops. Td9d8d type flops check fold is fine.

But Qc4h4c is an easy jam every time with a 1/2 pot sized stack. If they have QQ or a 4 then congrats to them they're way ahead. But mostly you're either taking it down here or getting called by flush draws and worse.
