Let's end this quibble right here and get back to Kentucky please.
No ****, sherlock. I misspelled TWO words- the same two our esteemed Executive Director managed to screw up in the same paragraph.

Ah yes, my apologies. I was preparing to board a trans-Atlantic flight so was typing quickly so that I could correct the misperception that it was a PPA lawyer who made the statement at the hearing. I didn’t want that to fester on the thread any longer than necessary. Despite my glaring errors, it appears the message was received.

So with that, on to saving poker, one punctuation mark at a time …

To clean matters up,

1. It was an IGC counsel who fielded the question.

2. A decision is not expected before the second week of January

3. The consensus among the several persons who attended the hearing that I have polled was a likely decision in our favor on some dispositive issue. The specific dispositive issue selected varied among counsel polled, but all pegged at least 2 votes for vacating/reversing the Order below on one or more grounds. However, anything can happen.

4. Dikshit's purchase of a Stay Out of Jail Card from DOJ should not have any direct effect, except that Judges are human and do read newspapers.

5. The predictions/analysis by Lawyers who may never have set foot in a Courtroom as counsel should be weighed less than the opinions of those who have. Similarly, the opinions of KY lawyers should be weighed more heavily than the opinions of non-KY lawyers with respect to where this case may go.

My favorite reply I heard was when asked if they could seize buses taking gambles out of state. The answer was yes, they could, same as the domain names.

LOL. That should be a fun lawsuit, if they try.

Being a resident of Kentucky, also, and having a vested interest in the outcome of this case, I was wondering how long does the appelate court actually have to make the decision. Is there a legal time constraint on them to do so? Regards "yankeedawg"

As long as the court desires. Could be next week, next month or March, but more likely sooner than later.

We expect it in a couple of weeks.
