I am writing a college argumentative paper on legalizing online poker. My thesis is "Online poker should be legalized in the United States due to the large tax revenue it would create, the domestic jobs that would be implemented, and poker is a mainly a game of skill and strategy with little room for luck."

What I need help with or legitimate statistics and quotes from reputable news sources, experts on a specific field, or politician. Particularly aiming towards the job creation aspect.

Bolded sounds really awkward (even assuming you take out the first a). It depends who you're trying to convince as well. Essentially you are trying to make an argument where the burden of proof should be on the opposite side so that your paper should actually mainly be refuting arguments for making it illegal.

Focus on the fact that outlawing poker has very little effect on whether or not people will actually gamble. I think a great starting point would be to listen to some of the hearings in congress and take note of the arguments that congressmen use.
