what a ****ing AIDS performance. Jose Theodore shows his true colors, giving up FOUR SOFT ****ING GOALS. JESUS CHRIST AT LEAST MAKE THAT SCRUB TEAM EARN EM. Power play looked like a bunch of Tinkerbells faggin around the ice, Semin throwing a puck 8 ft behind Ovechkin for a Callahan goal. The thing that made me the most angry about that play was that the Pitt feed was on another tv and they said "the puck stolen from Alexander Ovechkin..." Yea dude, that pass was ****ing stellar, blame it on Ovechkin. He wasn't shooting enough, Chris Clark wasn't expecting that pass at all. GGGGAAAAHHHHHHHHH. and I try to pick a fight with some ****ing douches dressed in all Red Sox and Phillies gear because they start screaming every time the Rangers score only because they see me and a couple other people getting excited. So when Three or More lets in his 4th cake goal of the night they do it again so I yell "you know that ****'s getting tired right?" The guy looks back at me,apparently dumbfounded, so I yell "yea I'm talkin to you". Those guys shut right up. I don't care if you like the opposing team (it was obvious they didn't) but don't act like a ****ing **********, because I will say something to you, and don't care if I lose a fight. **** this ****, the Caps lost because of horrible ****ing Theodore tonight, and the Pens ****ing won because Emery **** the bed on garbage from Jordan Power Move aka grabbing people when I go to the net Staal. I hate this game

should be a good game tonight but the big questions are how will the D respond to Bruce calling them out in public, and how will the goaltenders respond? The Wings lost Franzen, but are still a deadly team, and turning in a stinkin ass performance on the back end like last game just won't cut it. A dominating win tonight would do wonders for my sanity. Let's do it.

I mean jesus christ we know you're an offensive D man so how about providing some type of offense? He always seems to trap himself in his own zone by his lazy play with the puck. This team can be so frustrating because the D and the goaltending is so inconsistent.

i didn't get to watch much of the game. but jesus all the caps seemed like they were in their own little world out there. the caps can win that way more often than any other team in the nhl, but they're still sunk in the playoffs if they play like they appeared to tonight.

exactly what I was thinking. If they get D, or O, or G like that in the playoffs then it'll be another 2nd round exit. Ovie got robbed on one goal, or he didn't put it far enough left, which really took the wind out of my sails. That first Detroit tally was weak as hell too. If that puck's kicking around by a downed Theodore then every player by the net has to pick a Red Wing and try to put them on their ****ing asses. Same **** happened with the Briere goal

Green seems to be leading rushes a lot more often too on the power play. NOTHING EVER COMES OF THEM. He'll just charge into a stacked blue line like a ****in chicken with his head cut off. And is it just me or do the Caps blow at dump and chase when they do it? They get beat to the puck every time

i haven't seen the caps that much this year, but probably.

the power play has just looked really out-of-sync. semin is going to make terrible decisions, that's part of being alex semin, but if green is also making poor decisions, it's tough to overcome that as a power play.

I'm out of market so I haven't seen them play much, but I definitely noticed the dump and chase issue. It's hard to tell, but do they tend to use that as a way to get a line change in sometimes? I'm not very good at picking up on basic strategies in real-time, so I could be getting appropriate d&c's mixed up with dumb ones.

It's way too early to panic. The Caps have had a tough schedule so far. You're also still scoring 4 goals/game, and Varlamov will come around (right?)

yea they'll definitely do it to get line changes, but even times when they don't change it's an auto switch of possession. Also, did I not notice that Ovie was on the blueline during power plays last year like is he so far this season? Just from watching so far I don't know how productive that's been...

don't worry the devils play the passive box and will be eaten alive by semin and ovechkin on the PP, so you're a lock to score at least 1 tonight

if you get to watch the game, see if Ovie is on the blueline during PPs and let me know if you think that's good or bad. It seems like a waste to me just to have him out there banging slapshots from inside the blue line. Kinda seems...limiting. Last year he would cycle from down low, the D would pinch lower, and open up Green from the point. There's been none of that so far.

i thought ovechkin was on the point all the time on the PP. sure he might come below the circles and switch with another player if that looks like a good move, but basically he's back there on the left point all the time.

I don't think that's true. Maybe my mind's playing tricks on me but while he would spend time up there, he wasn't exclusively a blue line PP'er. Like I said, I'm not entirely sure, but the PP seems different this year
