Here are some premature observations I made.

yes, I know its just a preseason game. The first preseason game!

Hedo and Bosh are sitting this one out.

Derozen looks alright.

Amir Johnson looks like he could be solid, but he needs to finish these gimmes hes getting if he wants to make some impact and get some minutes this year. I could see why the Pistons gave up on him, he seems like one of those Darius Miles type of guys (all the potential and tools in the world, but just cant put it all together). I could be wrong. I hope Im wrong.

Sonny Weems looks very very solid. I was very impressed with him, and im not even talking about his little highlight plays...I just love his decision making and how strong he takes it to the bucket and how great he works away from the ball. He seems like he has the goods to be a high impact, high I.Q. player in the near future.

Andrea Bargnani is ready to make that next step this year imo. If it wasnt for Hedo and Bosh gauranteed a good portion of the teams touches on offense, I would bet good money on Bargs averaging 18+points per game this year. He seems really polished. Plus , he finished last season off on a great note, and only seems to be gaining more confidence.

Reggie Evans could be the guy who has the most impact on our team this year. He seems to be a great hustle guy, great off the ball...and he has a mean streak that could help inject that much needed swagger the Raps of last year lacked...I just wished he smiled a little less.

Marco bellinelli...hmmm...I have a feeling we're going to be yelling at him to shoot it more often...and have a feeling that hes going to be doing alot of pumpfake+drive+kick out more than he should.

Jarrett Jack is the man, I wouldnt be surprised if he takes over Calderon at the 1 spot sometime this year. (but thats mostly from watching last season)

and yes, I know its only been one preseason game.

im impressed with how they have fought back after giving up that advantage early in the third. hopefully its a change from last year when they would have just folded up.

Man what can you say now. Raptors looked great.

Bargs looked awesome. Hedo fit. Jose made "tougher" passes. Derozan looks solid. Bosh hustled for everything but weak offensively. Marco looked fine. Defense looked fine.

pretty excited after that game but still need to temper expectations.

def going to get tons of people hopping on the bandwagon after that game though expecting super deep playoff runs and such, especially all those sorry ass leafs fans.
