I feel bad for Detroit pitcher. I really do. Every Jays hit that wasn't a HR has been lined right back at the pitcher..... poor guy.

Happiness is looking at the WC standings and not see the Jays on the list.

Happiness is, even though Yankees swept their series, they gained 0 ground on Jays

Hope the jays can start putting ground between us and the yankees.

I saw Miggy and Kinsler I think chirping Edwin at the game today after he lined out to the track in RF in his 2nd AB. Probably a good thing when opposing players are chirping you for not hitting a HR

There are right handers with swings like Griffey, Clark, or Olerud, but we just dont see them that way because of camera angle.
Also, lefties swings take them towards first base, which allows for a more fluid transition. If runners ran the bases in the opposite direction, and cameras were in right center instead of left center, all these myths about smooth left handed swings being nicer would go away.

President oversees both baseball and team business. Shapiro oversaw the Cleveland stadium upgrade recently, so makes pretty good sense for us, though he's pretty good on the baseball side too. Hoping he'll leave the talent to AA. I respect Shapiro as a baseball mind, but love me some AA.

Who else has been going recently? I can't get over the atmosphere inside that hunk of concrete right now.

I've been going a fair bit. Going tonight and likely Wednesday as well. Was there on Saturday for Edwin's 3 dongs. That was unreal.

I've been going to games at the Dome off and on since it opened, and the only crowd I've seen that rivals the ones from Civic Holiday weekend was the WBC game against USA#1 in 2009. Going there for two on the final weekend against Tampa, fingers crossed we get to clinch something

^ hopefully it's already clinched by then. 6 games back of Royals seems hard to clinch AL, but possible I guess.
