So I was looking at some numbers for Stroman because I was getting kind of concerned but looks like a lot of his struggles can be attributed to luck.
However, it looks like his pitch selection has changed quite a bit in going away from a 4 seam fastball and to a 2 seam fastball. The results have been a lot less Ks and more walks and a lot more hard hit balls. Wonder what the reasons for making the changes in pitch selection were.
I took a break from innings 13-16 to go spend time with the family. Have they given a reason why the Jays are going to Goins here instead of tomorrow's starter Estrada (like Indians went to Bauer) or even Happ?
Hutchison threw on Tuesday for Buffalo and is on the 40-man roster, seems like he would be an obvious choice for a spot start.
