Roy's MO is to guard the high percentage shots, has been for years. Direct from the coaches clinic Roy said "We teach to guard the high percentage shots fiercely, lower percentage shots from the outside is what we like the opposition to have."
Thats a great theory, but my rebuttal to that is....the past few generations have been completely reared on the 3 point shot, and in general players have turned the college three in to a much high percentage shot than 10 years ago. Roy's thinking is very antiquated in my opinion.
