Recruiting both for 2011 and beyond is insane right now also.
He should look like a lottery pick against a team like that.

Are you sure you didn't hear it wrong and they said they saw him buying a lottery quickpick.

I find it hard to believe he looked that much better than when I saw him a week ago.

i've always liked Zeller. that was going to be a nice dunk vs UK. we need him playing 30 mins a game.

Exhibition game in progress.

Zeller is mega beasting.

Barnes looking really bad (I think he has 5-6 turnovers) and looks to be pressing. First game jitters I'm sure.

Zeller did look fab, I guess what I saw in two practices was just a poor perspective.

The team looked pretty good, then again it was just Barton.

So excited to see how Strickland looks at his natural position in his 2nd year. Gonna be a breakout year for him on both sides of the ball I predict. He's the most explosive player on the team IMO.

Just looked it up. Zeller is officially 30 pounds stronger than when he arrived at UNC. Way to go Jonas!!

We should hear if we land Cody Zeller this week. Pretty essential recruit since we may be really thin in the post next year without him.

These FR are gonna be some good ones down the road. Obviously playing garbage, but Bullock looks the part we all thought we were getting

One half of the 1st game and I already can't stand the thought of another full season of LD2 as the starting PG

i see a near future where Bullock is starting at the 3 and Barnes at the 4.

I see a Henson transfer if that happens or Zeller turns out to be a huge bust, so hopefully not

something just doesn't seem right when Henson and Zeller are both in the game. there is no flow... they are both gangly (sp?) and the offense is disjointed.

we need to run out small line-ups anyway b/c this will help preserve our front-line for 40 minutes w/ the foul trouble they will fall into in real games.

i still don't know why against bad teams they coach the players to collapse on 3 point shooters. it's the only thing they are normally good at doing and for some reason we keep giving open 3s.....very annoying and pretty much expected the last couple of seasons.

capone

no doubt. the first 5 minutes their top 3 point shooter starts off hot going 2-for-2. next time down his man runs down into the paint to double their big man who is being guarded by our 7 footer. gtfo w/ that same **** Roy.

Henson-A
HB-B+
Zeller-C
LD II-C-
Strickland-C-
Bullock-B+
Marshall-B+
McDonald-B
Knox-B
Watts-D

LDII / STrickland need to lose their spots quickly. Zeller I thought was beasting but has been absolutely horrible tonight (e/c from the line).

I know this is the first game, but HB hardly looks like definitive #1 pick in the draft to me......maybe it's first game gitters.

I see no fkn way he keeps his job this year. He obviously shows it in practice to this point, but he's the total pits on gameday. I've never disliked a player who did nothing but give it their best like LD2 does, but his game is so antithesis of Felton/Lawson I just can't stand to watch it. Even a Derrick Phelps mold would do just fine but that's asking too much I guess. He's kinda like Melvin Scott. Meant to be a backup. Not the floor general, nor the leader, nor the starter at the most important position in this offense.
