Yea, it sucks big time ... we almost need to play better teams in order to get the D intensity level up and get those steals needed for fast breaks

Our free throw shooting is going to be an issue in both tournaments.

What do you think the chances we get Nerlons Noel? I'm thinking close to 0. I'm sure he's thinking he's one and done and he might come off the bench if he comes to Syracuse.

If SU is 0 then UK must be 100 'cause it sounds like those are the top 2? What's the deadline? I would think whether Melo leaves or not is a big factor. If he stays then yah, the frontcourt is loaded with him, Fair, Christmas & Coleman. Even if he leaves it's a bit of a logjam.

I'd be surprised if they don't put Fair at the 3 just to get the best players on the floor.

If Melo declares he's an idiot. He has 0 back to the basket game and is a poor rebounder for his size to go along with his low basketball IQ. He'd be useless in the NBA except for the occasional shot block.

so tired of hearing how this is Boeheim's best team. 2003 team would wipe their ass with this team. the 2010 team with rautins and wes johnson was better as well

Yah 2010 had two legit post players, better shooters, and were only marginally worse on defense. They were better.
GOAT might still be 1989 with Sherm/Coleman/Thompson/Owens.

Up till conference play this season I'd agree with you ... now Christmas gets playing time until the first whistle, Mookie is off the team, Carter Williams doesn't get nearly as much PT as he did earlier, and Sutherland is used less effectively

I think the key to this tournament is going to be jumping out and demolishing UNC-A and whomever our 8/9 opponent is ... we need to get back to knowing we can steal, block and breakout and run over our opponents ...

Yah. Manhattan & Ok St gave us some problems in '03 too.
Just get to the Elite 8 by any means necessary and hope to shoot well after that.
