Georgetown game was tough.

We played our most passionate defense of the year until the last 5 seconds of each shotclock. Open 3's killed us again. Boeheim needs to reevaluate.

CJ Fair is awesome. He and Scoop really connected on a few plays. Fair truly hustles and has a passion for scoring. I'd rather start Scoop & Fair / Waters over Scoop & Triche. I don't think there's enough chemistry there.

Our offense is ... annoying. Too often our offense looks like it's scrambling around, hoping to get lucky with an open man. Jackson needs a move to the basket rather than being content with catch & shoot 8 foot hooks.

Wish we had someone who could drive like Flynn and either take it to the hoop or create an open man. Also, I'm fairly certain Boeheim hasn't taught them the screen yet.

Boeheim was more animated on the sidelines this game than I've seen him all year. It was like the last 10 seconds of the 03 Championship, wobbling around, trying to will the ball out of the basket. Hoping, praying for us to hold on.

Already looking forward to next year. Our Guard play isn't good. Man a likely 5-7 seed in this watered down season is so tilting. Why couldn't we have last year's team this year - could just ship the trophy.

Melo missed practice and didn't tell Boeheim it was for family reasons

When asked if Melo would play against West Virginia on Monday, Boeheim's response was "He’s done playing...for now."

Not sure but I think my Dad told me they're the Chiefs again, which is nice.

They are, and the stadium is a very nice place to see a game

Seeing Strasberg was quite an experience there. Waited in line for 4 innings to get a hot dog.

My rule is I'll only wait 3 innings.

Tough break for Gtown losing Wright. On the flip side I'm gonna be pissed if we don't win this game. A 12-6 mark which would likely come with a top 4 finish in the conference and hopefully a 3seed in the ncaa's would be kinda gross considering how bad we've looked at times.

I keep seeing stories saying Carmelo was from Brooklyn, I thought he was from Baltimore?

edit: nevermind, he was born in NY and moved to MD

A big win tomorrow and a Nova win and we're in the top 4. Only time I'm ever gonna root for Nova

Win the Big East tournament and I'd say definite #2 seed. I don't think a #3 seed is that far out of reach either.

Jackson doesn't seem like a big stopper to me, but if you lead the conference in rebounding and blocks you have to be a favorite for DPOY, don't you?

why the hell was melo on the court down the stretch? liked the 1h from southerland and waiters got some decent run. some depth will be critical for any sort of run in the ncaas. big win today chris wright or no chris wright.

I thought maybe he was coming in to give Jackson(?) a couple minutes rest, but when he was in there they were pulling away a little bit so JB maybe thought it woudl be a time to get him some good experience. Maybe? But then he got the charge and he was insta-pulled.

Freaking 'nova.

I didn't like Melo being in there at the end either. Unless he improves a lot, I can't see him getting that much PT next year with Keita back there and then Riley coming back

I'm really hoping for the 3 seed now (obv 2 if possible) Would much rather avoid a 1 seed until the elite 8 rather than the sweet 16. Also nice if they can get a 3 in the East, would have a lot of Cuse fans in Newark if they make it there.

Yah even without a dominant team this year the projected 1seeds seem considerably better than the 2s.

SJU winning yesterday hurts our chances at the double bye fwiw. Although someone on SUfan said as the #5 seed we could be in line to continue the revenge tour vs. SHU/L'ville/Pitt, which would be fun.

lol. Thank you St. John's. Last week I looked at their remaining schedule and said to myself there was no way they don't win out. OOPS!
