Wow, proof that Jack Wilson should not be playing came today. Poor Felix. the offense is so bad its pathetic that these players get to call themselves major leaguers. How are they so terrible with runners at 3rd and less than two outs?

With the release of Milton Bradley today I thought it might be interesting to think up my least favorite Mariners of all time. Some of these guys played well, but there was just something about them I couldn't stand.

10. Dan Wilson, the way he dropped his head after yet another weak grounder to second base always seemed to infuriate me.

9. John Halama, Every fifth day we got to watch this guy struggle to get outs with an 84 mph two seamer, and nothing else. Why he was on a major league roster I will never know.

8. Dave Valley, Should have let the pitchers hit and DH'd for him. Decent announcer though.

7. Pete O'brien, By the time he reached Seattle the bat was long gone. Just another no hit 1b.

6. Ben Davis, I guess I just hate light hitting catchers that suck. At least Wilson had a glove though.

5. Bret Boone, hit .230, went to Atl and SD, came back and crushed at about twice the size. I hate cheaters. (nice D tho)

4. Alex Rodriguez, not for his time in Seattle but for the way he left. As time goes by and he continues to ruin his legacy he moves up this list. Two years ago he was #1.

3. Joey Cora, crying like a bitch made watching him all those years that much worse.

2. Bobby Ayala, Bye Bye Bobby. WOAT. Randy Johnson says thanks for all the wins you cost him.

1. Milton Bradley, There was absolutely nothing good about this clown. A **** attitude, injury prone, and a spotty track record. Guys like this never fit in, in Seattle.

i have to apologize to you guys. on may 6th, i grabbed brandon league and his 13 ip, 3 ER, 9 saves awesomeness. since then....well, you know. it's my fault. please forgive me.

I feel like someone should post about the awesomeness that has been the Mariners of late.

I was talking with some friends and pointed out that we are the only team in baseball that has to find a way to have Kyle Seager and Alex Liddi's bats in the lineup. FFS will we ever get any decent bats?

In other news, Montero seems like a solid bat. He needs to learn some plate discipline though. Ackley has obvious talent, hopefully he puts it all together by the end of the season and becomes more consistent. Any long term ability from Mike Carp?
