Even though I am from Montana, I cannot stand Rob Johnson. Last time I checked, catchers are paid to actually catch the ball.

Don't worry everyone, once the Angels come to Safeco our offense will wake up.

HEY!!!!!!!! Five runs, three on the Josh Wilson three run homer. Put him in the three hole imo. On the Seattle Mariners podcast they mentioned maybe Berkman being available early due to the stros being worse than the M's. Then on baseball today they said that Berkman was un-tradeable, not producing, and that no one would want him. Sounds like a match made in heaven for the M's.

http://www.cbssports.com/mlb/story/1...-hitting-coach Like its his fault amirite?

Great game for the Mariners today. Hopefully they can keep things going against Baltimore on Tuesday. Ryan Rowland-Smith needs a good game or Bedard will take his place in the rotation.

Baltimore maybe provide some cures for our dog poo offense. If Lopez and Figgy get going its not nearly as bad imo. Nothing would be better than getting bedard to come back and pitch well for a month before we trade him for Dunn.

It's time to bench Lopez for a few games. As long as Josh Wilson is hitting, let him play third.

Who plays short then? Before you say Jack Wilson, remember there is a reason Josh is in, and are his year end numbers going to be better than Lopez's?

Anyway, hopefully a new hitting coach is helping the plate approach leading to some of these runs. Lets keep it up with the hyphen on the hill today.

Well, I guess the answer is Tui at third, Josh Wilson at short, Jack Wilson to the DL, and Lopez to DH. It looks like Tacoma will play the Orioles today rather than Seattle.

I could handle that, but there is probably good reasons that we want to see Tui but don't. He probably sucks. So we would be trading a hole at DH for a possible different lineup hole and maybe weaken the D at the same time. Pure speculation of course. And Tui obviously could be something that we know we don't ever get from Jr/Sweeney/whomever.

Better hope you win this next one or Mariners might outdo that 7 game losing streak.

BTW did anyone see that fan put moves on that security guy?, I rewinded like 10 times.

Crap, two things are blatantly obvious about our team.

1. By far the best, most complete pitching staff in baseball in the last twenty years. I challenge someone to name a better staff in that time frame.

2. By far the worst offense I have also seen in that time, and I watch baseball religiously.

I am really hoping we make a run at it. With this pitching, we won't be out of the race by the break. One bat might also make all the difference. If we decide to dump I hope they turn Lee into a positional prospect. If we get a pitcher, then we should have just kept Aumont.

I would love to hear all others thoughts on this.
