So much for our undefeated season. The not being able to score rears its ugly head in game two.

arbitrary tilt post over lineup not only being scoreless, but the apparent inability to even scratch out a base runner or two.

I really haven't been following baseball much the past few years, but when I look at the M's lineup, to me its the definition of meh. No big bats at all, a bunch of old farts, etc.

all right, 1-3 vs the As sucks but its only 2.5% of the season. (like my positive spin math?) On to texas where the hits should be a tad easier to come by. Plus Felix pitches game two of the series. Paging Cliff Lee.......you are needed in the rotation.

At least Felix is on the hill today. A sign of hope after a fairly miserable first week. Milton bradley is now 1-18 with 8 ks. There is a lineup shuffle for todays game which I like. We had been running 5 lefties, 4 righties out. In that order. A nice mixup moving Lopez and Gutierrez up to balance the lineup more. It has resulted in a first inning run so far. I am not disheartened yet.

Our home opener is in a few hours. Randy Johnson will be throwing out the first pitch.
Update: Cliff Lee should return in May. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/3...back-until-may As always with the bleacher report there is some nice scenery with links.

bump for our third win

Milton picks up two hits and the winning three run dong after sitting down with Wak. After Felix sat down with Wak he almost won the cy young, hopefully this means that Milton with hit 340.

Well yesterday was unfortunate given all the chances we had with runners on base late in the game, but a series win vs Oak and Det and people in the area can stop freaking out. Pics from friday nights game with the oh so sick Felix on the hill and Jr bobble head night.

"The Kid"(just mine though)

Another beautiful Seattle night

Closing the roof

Me and my kid, don't know who the guy in the mariners hat was

Jesus I'm cheap

GG Detroit, better luck next time.

bump for sweep of the O's

Cliff Lee is set to return on 4/30 vs Texas. The starting pitching is dominating bad lineups. The offense is stringing together enough quality at bats to produce runs. It was a helluva homestand, time to go do it on the road against CWS and KC.

Those are the outfield bleachers, right? Love those seats in July and August. Spent many a college evening there.

Thanks for linking this in the MW2 thread.

Those center field outfield seats are basically the only ones I haven't sat in at the Safe.

Cool TR Steve

section 192 ftw. I paid more to park in the garage then for both seats. I overvalue being able to get the F out and not having to walk through pioneer square.

is it a huge pain getting to and from games right now with all the construction down there?

Alright, swept by the ChiSox with a couple heart breakers. Its ok as long as we take care of biz vs the Royals. Lee looked good in his AAA rehab start. BTW I got 26$ for my extra bobblehead. It cost me 29$ to go to the game including parking. Value to be had in M's games.

Not anymore than usual. I came in from I90 and it was the usual two right turns and they were parking people in the quest field garage. ez game

I was poor when I was going to a lot of Mariner's games so I'd always try to find free parking under the viaduct. I was usually successful; in fact, I probably paid for parking less than five times in five or so years.

hilarious griffey segment they are doing during the pregame show where Griffey is just looking at his blackberry during an interview and just ignoring the other guy. "personable Griffey" lololol.
