From the looks of things the Mariners should be much improved talent wise for 2010. Hopefully this leads to a mid 90's wins season and a division title. It would be our first since 2001 and the 116 wins. Of course this team is much more like the world series winning Diamondbacks from that year with two studs at the top of the rotation. Hopefully those are the results that can be duplicated.
The biggest things going on in spring training are moving Jose Lopez to third for the sake of infield defense. Figgins at second ftw. Also the hunt for a 4th/5th starter behind Felix, Lee, and Rowland-Smith. Realistic candidates are Snell, Fister, and Vargas. Obviously if/when Bedard returns he fills a spot. The pen is mostly solid (on paper obv) with the glaring lack of a lefty specialist. Lastly the lineup isn't set, however I think this will be something that changes daily unless an obvious middle of the order guy is aquired.
Come on Mariners fans, I don't want to be the only one posting in this thread. Mariners will be on the
