And yes, the loss still hurts.

maybe nobody wants to talk about it (and i understand why seeing as i haven't watched espn in over a week), but who u guys got?

we all presumable hate both teams unequivocally...but there is a such thing as the lesser of two evils.

i went to college in boston and live in nyc so that sucks.

i guess i might (oh so regrettably) slightly favor the pats just because the giants walked way too thin a line in the last 4 weeks of the regular season to be worthy of the lombardi trophy...and all of my nyg friends have peanut sized brains and don't understand the variance of this run so i'd rather not have to listen to them for a whole year.

btw, i was 100% nyg 4 years ago because lol 18-1 but i've accepted brady's "greatness" so if he wins another, what's the difference...

no matter what i want an ugly blowout. one where at least one fan base hangs its collective head in shame...

While this would be nice I still want a good game. I don't want to watch Cowboys / Bills

Patriots all the way ... Eli's mannerisms rub me the wrong way and that's enough for me to despise the Giants ... Coughlin as coach doesn't help the issue

I also was going for the Giants in 07 because of 18-1. I think that them beating the Niners will sway me in rooting for the Pats. I don't really care at all. I think I have listened to sports radio, NFL Network/ESPN for a total of 4 minutes after the Championship loss.

I usually listen to the Dan Patrick show all the time, but I won't until the Super Bowl stuff dies down.

I guess if Giants win the 49ers could always up the season a little bit more by saying "... and then losing to the eventual SB champion in the NFCCG". That seems weak though. I want Eli to get another ring to really start the Eli > Peyton 'cause of RANGZ argument. An argument I have already heard on the Dave Dameshek podcast.

Peyton is miles better than Eli. Unless being an elite QB means having a defense that plays great. Its like Big Ben. Without that D, Pittsburgh doesn't win either Super Bowl.

Absolutely, but that doesn't seem to stop some of the pundits from arguing this even before the 2nd ring is a fact. Ship Peyton to the niners and he will get ring 2,3 and 4 though and end that debate. Then the talking heads could argue Brad Johnson = Trent Dilfer > Dan Marino instead.

One of the most shut and dry Coach of the year Awards ever.

Loved that Harbs on COy. Disappointed that Justin didn't win DPOY although I can see why he didn't--they gave votes to other Niners. I guess I'm also not surprised that Aldon didn't win DROY but I guess 2nd isn't too bad considering how hyped Von Miller was all year. Aldon I think has more upside than Von since we haven't seen very much from Aldon yet but we've seen a pretty incredible season from Von and he played a ton of snaps.

Such an amazing turnaround and the award couldn't be more well deserved!

I'm rooting for points. Lots of them.

Hoping the Pats win, I'm a Brady fan.

Harbaugh coach of the year -
Alex making the speech accepting the award -

Aldon should have won DROY but it's whatever. I mean they voted Curtis Martin into the HOF and not Cris Carter or Tim Brown so we really shouldn't expect them to get it right.

Yesterday was the first day since the NFCC that I watched any thing sports related. Was at the bar and saw some super bowl coverage on and couldn't watch. I seriously have no idea how I can watch tonight.

The Niners should be playing tonight. It still sucks. Next year can't get here soon enough

First 55 minutes sucked. My step dad kept falling asleep. The lack of funny commercials sucked to. Who would of thought Madonna was the best part of the whole damn thing?

Anyone see the Giants hats? They suck, next years better look good for the Niners!

I agree. Worst super bowl in recent memory. I hate both qbs, both coaches and all there fans.

Saints , Niners or Ravens should have won imo.

I am so happy the season is over. After the loss, I was miserable. Now im more content. Niners had such a good year and the defense will be even better next year. They didn't even learn half the playbook!

Also of the 7 guys who got votes for DPOY... 3 of them are on the Niners! Its a team game ya know!
