Ya. He probably lost money this year. If he's giving out 800k he made 1mil minus 350k in taxes. So 650k net . He loses 150k

After reading an article about which players were being sent to the pro-bowl by the 49ers and which ones should have been sent. I think its fairly obvious that the two positions we need to upgrade at are WR and OL.

Mike Iupati was the only consistently good player on the OL this year. Staley and Goodwin were serviceable. Rachal, Snyder and Davis are horrible. If we can put together a unit that will not be last in the league in sacks given up I think it would work wonders for Gore and Smith.

Was Bowman on the fan ballot? I doubt it really matters. It is funny that so many Packers fans keep telling me that the Pro Bowl game sucks, so it doesn't matter who is on the team.

I agree the game is awful, but getting on the roster (the current guys, not replacements) is awesome for the players. Not to mention a contract bonus.

But the Packers fans I have talked to would be so happy if they had 8 players and Niners had 7. I hate them so much... I am a die hard Brewers fans and can't stand 95% of Brewers fans... obv those are Packers fans.

This weeks game is the first playoff game as far as i am concerned. If they don't win. they will most likely be the 3 seed and have to beat ATL/DET than travel to NO...

I want a bye and NO at home, so this is a playoff game and should be treated like one. If the hurt players can play, they better play. Looking at the big picture of Super Bowl chances there is a huge difference in being the 2 and 3 seed.m

Considering we shut them out last game and our overall effort i am not very worried about rams. If Rams lose they could draft luck possibly, that would be huge for them.

I am not worried by any means, but I will be in a world of pissed off if players could of played and didn't if they lose.

Winning this game is as important as winning a Wild Card round game IMO. It might be more important as the Niners would get a bye week to rest some guys and not have to play in the Superdome but get NO at home.

No I'm pissed because NO is also in an early game. Had we a late game, we could determine our line up by whether they won or lost.

(Note: I don't think NO is gonna lose, but ya never know.)
