actually i will be pretty surprised if rookie salary slots aren't part of the new cba. it will save the owners a ton of money and the nflpa does not care about future nfl players because they aren't currently in the nflpa. also it should theoretically free up more money for veterans that are in the nflpa.

from a value standpoint, I think w/ each game he misses, his value goes down. i agree w/ wat the 9ers are doing.

and, if crabtree doesn't sign now, idk why the eff he would sign later when he gets worse deal...

Another disconnect is that there were pre-draft projections that had him going to the Niners in that slot. It isn't like Crabtree dropped for no apparent reason. He went where many expected him to go.

I can't see how next year, when he gets drafted even lower and he's carrying all the baggage from this debacle, he'll be in a better bargaining position.

I really love what the front office is doing here. Crabtree is a ****ing idiot, he just doesn't get it.

Does he think this is the Texans?

Anyone have commentary on the timeout to rally the defense? I cringed when Singletary did it but the move seems to be getting favorable play by the ESPN types. I'm very thankful that the Niners were fortunate enough not to have needed that timeout late in the 4th.

If you're worried about the D being on the field too long, just give up a 79-yd TD and they're resting on the sideline amirite?

How bad are the Seahawk's safeties at taking the proper angle? Both TD's are almost entirely on them.

capone0,

I will apologize. I was not high on the 49ers before the season, and even after week one. They changed me today, they are 2-0 within the division. They are a good team, and will hang in most games, if not all

Will see. Both games were against the NFC West. And 2 years ago we started 2-0 and faded. I have a lot of confidence in Singletary. Not sure how well will play on the road against Minnesota though................if we win that game, I think we're legit.

Next week will be quite the test, but I honestly don't see why we won't keep the game close. I think our secondary is definitely capable of hanging with a receiving core who has been just ok so far this year, and Willis vs AP should just be epic.

The way ye are set up will mean that - while ye are unlikely to win 11 or more games this season - it is very unlikely that you get blown out by anyone. You will be in most of the games you play this season late in the third quarter. And when you consider the strength of your division, that could well be good enough for a trip to the playoffs.

i was thinking either him or robinson since they both played qb too. or they could just scrap it. anything as long as they don't keep running spurlock out there.
