San Francisco 49ers: Shaking Hands Too Hard
made kyle orton look like kyle orton yesterday!

absolutely brutal ****ing schedule, but i still have my hopes that seattle hasn't improved enough (wishful thinking) and warner will get his 98th broken something which means the niners go 10-6 and take the division. i still maintain that this team is a legitimate QB, head coach and OC away from being a legit super bowl contender eventually i'll warm up to singletary as long as the team wins, i will never be a fan of jimmy raye imo josh morgan's a stud and will have a breakout season and i'm holding out hope that vernon davis will finally validate his existence...if you can get both of these to happen smith/hill will enough at their disposal that this team should have a good enough offense to compliment a 5 star defense (even without harris) and should be enough to get into the playoffs hopefully, anyway |

Re: SF 49ers 2009: Someday we'll have Crabtree
shaun hill officially gets the starting job....fml
|
Re: SF 49ers 2009: Someday we'll have Crabtree
why FML?
Hill >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Smith. Smith is a mfin bum. Hill isn't flashy but he wins and doesn't make mistakes. Smith can't ever get his act together and never will. Team should cut the mf'er, he's done. I have more hope for Nate Davis than Alex Smith who sucks dick. If we suck this year, I guess we could go after one of the QBs available, it's pretty stacked this year. Snead McCoy Kid from OU If we could get one of them for the future I think it'd be happy. McCoy might not have an arm, but he is the accurate QB we need in a WCO, and the team can't ever win without playing WCO. Impressed in pre-season by OL. If it can play this well during the regular season I think we have a chance to win the division. Not sure about the rest of the team though, the D has been ball hawking during pre-season. I still think we need to get more pressure on the QB. Also Coffee has been really sick so far, hopefully he becomes our 1-2 punch with Gore. |

and we won't suck enough to be in the running for any of those 3 and more than likely will get someone like tebow |
Re: SF 49ers 2009: Someday we'll have Crabtree
If we get Tebow, kill me, especially in the 1st round. I know we have 2 firsts next year but that'd be such a waste.

Re: SF 49ers 2009: Someday we'll have Crabtree
i mean i just really have no faith in the organization's ability to judge talent to think they'd make the right selection. remember, these are the same idiots who said they wouldn't take stafford cuz of the meeting he had with their shrink (moot point obv since he wasn't lasting til 10th ever anyway-also possible they said that to scare off the 9 teams ahead of them from picking him so they could pick him themselves, but i don't think they're smart enough for that kind of gamesmanship).
tebow just seems to fit the exact mold singletary is looking for in a guy to run the offense. which is not at all a good thing |
Re: SF 49ers 2009: Someday we'll have Crabtree
We've made good picks lately though for the most part. Hopefully crab comes around but otherwise other than Balmer, I have been quite pleased with our picks the last couple of years.

Re: SF 49ers 2009: Someday we'll have Crabtree
smith was an urban qb too. there's no way in hell the niners draft tebow unless it's on the second day.

3-0........suck it........

Re: SF 49ers 2009: Someday we'll have Crabtree
I'm sure if the first two teams had gone for the pat we would have found a way to lose in OT

Re: SF 49ers 2009: Someday we'll have Crabtree

Re: SF 49ers 2009: Someday we'll have Crabtree

Excited about this season, see what Singletary can do with the entire year. Mixed feelings about Shaun Hill, but overall the best option we have. I think Coffee has a decent rookie campaign, and Gore continues in beast mode. Vernon wakes up, josh morgan breaks out, crabtree at least draws safeties. Willis and Spikes wreck opposing offenses obv. 9-7, win the division with the tiebreak |

looks like Crabtree is going to be the first player to sit out an entire season from being drafted. The best possible outcome here is he falls to #20 or so where the 49ers pick, the 49ers pick him again, and there's no way he can sit out a second season in a row so they take him and give him half as much as he would have gotten this year. |
Re: SF 49ers 2009: Someday we'll have Crabtree
"You would think he would need it, but he's not in dire need of money at this time, and I'm saying that honestly."
Lol. Also, gtfo out with this ****. |
Re: SF 49ers 2009: Someday we'll have Crabtree
That'd be straight up ******ed if Crab sat out a year. Honestly he must have the dumbest agent in the entire world. It makes no sense economically or careerwise to sit. It literally brings him no benefit other than being a huge dick. He loses guaranteed money this year and his pay check this year. He might get actually drafted farther down in the draft next year and get less money structured. **** Crabtree if he's this dumb.
How on earth did Shawntae win the starting job....................over Bly and Tarell Brown. http://blogs.mercurynews.com/49ers/ LOL Deion. Why settle for 20 when you can get 40. Who on earth is giving Crabtree 40 at the 10 spot. Deion thinks Crab has leverage. Honestly Deion I guess is as dumb as he looks. He has NO leverage. Honestly where is Crabtree's money coming from that he doesn't need the cash? If he doesn't need the cash, why is he holding out for trying to get double his contract. http://blogs.mercurynews.com/49ers/2...son/#more-1988 |

Am I alone in thinking that the NBA's system of automatic contracts for rookies depending on where in the draft they're picked >>>>> this stupid bull**** in the NFL where egotistical rookies who haven't shown anyone **** yet try to hold teams hostage?
