Considering that the Eagles have addressed the O-line almost every year for the last 10 years, I'm disappointed in the quality of our starters right now.

He didn't really lose his job.

jean-gillies is more of a run blocker, so it doesn't surprise me that he will be starting this weak as i expect the eagles to try running the ball

I thought MJG was a decent run blocker too but he was actually their worst run blocker last year but at least Jason Peters is a beast

QFT. End of half/beginning of 3rd was just pathetic. Kolb was alright - there's more potential there than I thought.

Kolb was about what I expected. Sean Peyton just owns our defense for whatever reason. Special teams are widely inconsistent right now.

Jeff Garcia will be starting for the Bucs before the end of the season.

That game was definitely lol Eagles, but I'm not at all worried. After McNabb went out I wasn't expecting much from this game.

We only gave up 10 points in the first 28 minutes of the game. Clearly the defense played much worse in the first half, but they also got stuck with a short field a handful of times. I'm not sure if that would have happened with McNabb or not, but with Donovan I feel like there's a good chance we would have had the lead.

I also feel like the defense had some bad luck. Brown with great coverage but couldn't quite deflect the 40 yard third down pass. A completely missed holding call before the second touchdown. It was obviously not a good performance by the defense but I don't think it was very worrisome at all.

at least that wildcat stuff today was awesome to watch

that and those jets that flew over the game followed by sweet fireworks.

I'm not overly worried about this loss. Take care of business next week against an inferior team and then get to the bye at 2-1 and get Mcnabb back 100% and I like our chances.

I need to be less upset by this loss - early season woes are the norm w/ reid coached teams and the saints are the best o in the league. There is no excuse for the ST's tho, but hopefully that can be straightened out w/ time.

playing good teams just identify and highlight the team's biggest flaws. Today, obviously, special teams, defense, and 3 ints were highlighted.

3 ints shouldn't be surprising. I hope the ST and Defense get some big time work done this week.

Just got back from a long day of tailgating, Eagles game, tailgating, Dave Matthews concert! Phew, I'm exhausted!

Kolb looked pretty good. Eagles obviously don't have too much confidence in him, being that every other play was wildcat, but their (and my) confidence grew massively with this game. He was poised, he threw the ball away, he was accurate, he ran the offense. Granted, NO does not have a good defense and it would have been good to see him throw downfield more, but he did a good job for his first start. (Note: we left with five minutes to go and I didn't see the second two picks, but whatever garbage time is irrelevant).

Sean McDermott coached this game like a pussy bitch. All the creative looks and blitzes were missing, atleast it seemed that way live. I wish I had a tape of the game but I don't.

WTF Sav Rocca? WTF Ellis Hobbs? WTF false starts and illegal shifts and illegal formations? WTF penalties?

This loss doesn't worry me in the slightest. KC is awful, beat them, use the bye week to get McNabb and Westy healthy (like we've never said that before), come out smoking week 5.

WTF DVOA? I'm getting obliterated betting NFL so far this season.

The DMB concert was ****ing unbelievable, I've seen them 6 or 7 times now but this was by far the best, possibly the best concert I've ever been to period.

Sean McDermott's calls were very conservative. Cole was getting double teamed, had TE's and FB's on his side to chip him, as expected - but where were the blitzes and different formations to negate this? The scheme was very vanilla compared to last week. I don't expect him to blitz as much as last week, but he only rushed 4 way too much for my liking.

Interesting quote from Westbrook in Peter King's MMQB, regarding Shawn Andrews:

"He wouldn't fake something like this -- but at the same time, as his friend I'm going to support him. It's been kind of tough, because everyone thinks he's faking ..."

His reference to "everyone" could be taken as including Reid & Co. and a portion of other players - I'd like to see what context the comment was made in.

Kolb was about what I expected, I thought he played decent - definitely not Kolb FTL.

Hopefully this is just one of the couple of stinkers every team is bound to have, and a wakeup call to the D and STs.

Did the ST really play so bad as a group? I thought it was just Hobbs and Rocca ****ing up.

Tons of penalties - I think 3 possessions started inside the 10 because of a block in the back or hold on special teams.
