I thought it was pretty funny, especially the negative reactions. Why would anyone be so pissed that they are spending a bunch of money at dinner? Deadspin was not impressed, which makes it even funnier.
The whole DeSean Jackson thing, that helped out, to be honest, in making all the other guys aware," star running back LeSean McCoy said last Monday in a private, post-practice moment. "It's all possible. They'll cut one of your best guys if (he's) not buying in. On any team -- any team -- you look at that, and as a player, you can look at it from so many different sides, but no matter how good you are, you gotta follow these guidelines. And if you don't, you could be gone. ... You gotta buy in.
Maybe it was really just a combination of "buy-in", commitment, and $$
Yeah, when I saw "Eagles' Johnson arrested for assaulting an officer" I assumed it was Lane getting in more trouble. I was hoping for Damaris. Glad it was some guy I didn't even know was on the roster.
7.04 - The Eagles' average yards after the catch as a team in 2013. That was not only tops in the league; it was the highest average of any NFL team dating back to 1992, according to STATS, LLC data.
Next closest last year was 6.45.
No way to explain it 'cept: CHIPPAH
I'm not buying the idea that everyone studies the Eagles' offense and figures them out.

Really like that stat.
Read that earl Wolff is having a great camp. Him turning into a player would be huge for the defense.
McCoy is already the greatest fourth-quarter big-play running back in NFL history. By far. And he just turned 26. McCoy has seven career TD runs of 40 yards or more in the fourth quarter, and nobody else in NFL history has more than four — Adrian Peterson, Barry Sanders, Antowain Smith, Robert Smith and Fred Taylor each have four. ... Since Shady entered the league in 2009, there have been 35 total fourth-quarter TD runs of 40 or more yards. Only five players have more than one. McCoy has seven. Or 20 percent. That’s just insane.
Article on Chip wasn't groundbreaking or anything but still a fascinating read. I don't think there's another coach I'd rather have running this franchise.

+1
Hope he sticks around for a long time. Also hope we can get a ring w/ Shady. Pretty sure we'll never have a RB as talented as him.
Eagles fans.....I honestly hope you have the ability to enjoy what is coming your way.
Chip doesn't suffer the media fools, which is highly enjoyable to watch (unless you want a warm and fuzzy HC to tuck you in at night).
Chip trolls other HCs with his in-game decision making, putting them in positions to compound their mistakes with bad reactive decisions. I hope he goes for 2 on the first TD scored in every game.
Chip knows when to try for a 4th down instead of punting...yes, he won't succeed 100% of the time, but the strategy is logical and successful in the end game. Ignore what all of the radio hacks have to say.
Chip wears booty socks on the sidelines during games, which is enjoyable to discover when the Eagles make a play that warrants enough of his excitement to see him repeatedly jump up and down.
Chip will not be bringing the exact copy of the Oregon Blur Offense to the NFL. He is a much brighter mind that will evaluate the talent he has, the opponent's strengths and weaknesses, and adapt to the opportunities that are presented to him. Don't expect Vick (or Foles) to be running the zone read.
You should hope that he has free reign in the talent that the team acquires. His ultimate success depends on that.
Monte Kiffen is going to be trolled at least two times a year. This will be enjoyed by all.
Thank you Chip...it was a fun ride while it lasted.
We wish you well.
Oregon Fan
just thought I'd dig this post up from January 2013 for ****s and giggles.
