I would rather the Sixers hired someone with no experience but realizes the team needs to run. My problem with Collins is that his teams play a low possession game and he calls plays constantly. Watching him coach the Wizards a few years back was just painful.

This team is not meant to hold the ball until the superstar (I guess Iggy) makes a decision. They DON'T need to slow it down until the coach has called a play. Collins' teams were either last, 2nd to last, 3rd to last and one time 4th to last in Pace Factor, and I just think this team needs to run. This is a super athletic team that needs to get out in transition and rely on youth and fitness to win imo. It worked with MFing Mo Cheeks for god sakes. Remove Miller and insert it a slow paced offense with Eddie Jordan, and the team blows all of a sudden. I see more of the same from Collins.

Mike Missanelli is reporting that the Sixers have traded Sammy Dalembert for Andres Nocioni and Spencer Hawes.

Whatever, as long as Sammy D is gone I am happy. I dont care much about the return.

Does this open up the possibility for the Sixers to move Iggy? I think they make another trade prior to the draft.

Everyone is content and likes turner so no one says anything. This thing would be blowing up if they drafted favors 2nd overall lol. Im a fan of nerds, he seems like a really nice kid and an anti thug, which i give 2 thumbs up.

Bump for Evan Turner going 7/10 from the field with 16 pts, 7 rbs, 4 asts, and flashing the ability to defend some of the best players in the league...and it was against the ZOMG BIG THREE GIANT ROYAL PENIS GETTING MIAMI HEAT!

A+ Stoll reference.

Saw bits a pieces tonight, gonna be a long year but Turner was fun to watch for a few mins.

I ask a freind of mine if he wanted to buy some tickets on the cheap for ext week, some special for $15 tickets. He said and I quote "If the Sixers were playing in my backyard I would shut the blinds."

I lol'ed

As much as I want the Sixers to start contending again, one more lottery lucksack would go a long way.

I just flipped on the game (not sure why) and have been listening to Marc Zumoff for a few minutes and his play-by-play is flat out awful. He sounds totally deflated and uninterested with everything - I guess having to watch this team on a night-in and night-out basis eventually takes its toll. It's still kind of sad though, the Zumoff I remember growing up was always excitable and into the game, but now I guess he's mailing it in like the rest of the Sixers. To be fair though, there's no way I'd be able to keep interest calling a half let alone 82 games of Sixers basketball.

Of course, there's always the chance he just has a cold or something and I'm way off base.

Yea I really dont blame him, it must feel like a waste calling a game knowing nobody is watching/listening.

Funny story: I wasn't really listening to what Zumoff was saying at the end of the game, but I remember he gave a less than enthusiastic "and that'll do it," which I figured meant the Sixers had lost. I then proceeded to head over to one of my friends' houses, and another one of my friends walked in about an hour later having been at the game (the one that went with Cole, obv). I said something like "how about those Sixers losing?" He looked at me strange and said they were up by 9 with 30 seconds left. Kind of funny that Zumoff's tone threw me off like that right after I commented on it.

Yeh, probably going to be a 6-8 seed and be given the opportunity to be swept by Boston, Miami, Orlando or Chicago. I'd rather they fall back out of the playoffs tbh.
