Never did I think I would see this day, and I go way back with the Buckeyes....

I was a season ticket holder when Rex Kern and the Super Sophs came out of the tunnel.
I was at the 10-10 game.
My HS, while I attended, played and beat Eastmore HS led by Archie Griffin.
As a student I was at Art Schlichter's first game - a loss.
I have been to 2 Rose Bowl games (loss/win), 2 National Champ Games (win/win), was at the Bama game....

But I never expected to see a second time since 2001 where it has been 2,000 days - let that sink in ... 2,000 days - since the last time m*ch*g*n beat the Buckeyes in football. Holy crap. The late 80's and 90's were bad for us - but were they THIS bad?

It sure feels amazing. It's just so so nice. To see their pain over and over. It's beautiful.

It's all good man, we'll certainly beat yall again with that oline and WILton. Even JT can do that.

Your defense and skill position can do that, JT eh, doubt it. Probably better off replacing JT with a RB.

****ing pitiful. What is it with these DBs covering by facing the receiver and never looking at the ball? Our defensive backs have been awful for years. We're just lucky enough usually to face inexperienced quarterbacks or bad O lines.

JT also needs to go. It's kind of funny how every QB Urban has had, has regressed. Look at Braxton, Cardale, JT, the state of the Florida offense before he left and right after. Urban was a great coach. But there is nothing innovative or new with the spread anymore. Everyone runs it, they've perfected it. Like a video game. Atari helped to introduce video games, but Nintendo and Sony advanced it closer to perfection.

That's a pretty hot take there. So what fancy new offense would you like him to run?

Nintendo and Super Nintendo was perfection. It's been all down hill ever since.

Pro style, ground and pound, anything where we hold the ball more than 1 minute at a time. No tempo. We hold the ball, we rest our defense and don't give the other offense a rhythm. What good is tempo if we aren't equipped to efficiently run it.

I thought that was you that complained about the spread awhile back. An elephant never forgets. I'll say it again:

Clearly Urban is the problem. He's a dinosaur, running a five year old offense.
Maybe it's ~ten years now, but whatever. Calling an offense gimmicky and saying people have figured it out over and over isn't exactly getting into the finer details.

I really am curious what exactly it is that you want Urbz to run. Almost everybody runs some variation of a college-style offense that includes spread concepts but you can't just call it a spread anymore. It's not like they're running the same offense he ran at Utah or Bowling Green or something and Kevin Wilson isn't Tom Herman. And there must be something specific that you're looking for, because they're not doing the exact same thing year in and year out.

But they are doing the same thing year in and year out. Pound it up the middle with JT. Read option to JK or Weber. Drop back, scramble 20 yards out the pocket, throw the ball away. There is clearly something wrong with his offense. Like I said, it was innovative 10-15 years ago. It's not anymore, now that everyone has grown up practicing and playing against it.

And we're closely following the trajectory Florida did with Urban. Which, if that's the case, means we don't have much longer with Urban. Bob Stoops was in the building over the weekend and is an Ohio native....just throwing it out there.

5 star prospect Micah Parsons starting quite a ****storm via twitter regarding the QB situation. Now other recruits joining in as well.

R E L A X - take a step back off the ledge. This is simply not a very good team this year. 9-3, 10-2 will be a win. No way Urb replaces JT - will never happen. Beside the RB's we don't really have any offensive weapons - regardless of the scheme. As in the past this is a one game season. With this current depth chart that is all we need anyway. 9-3 and a win in the bighouse is just fine with me. Next year will be a very different story.
