I would realistically put it about 30-35% chance and Denver is at worst 2:1 and us as well...4:1 is about right...It is bumped a bit with the WC scenarios.

Classic Raiders. Sigh. I hope we fire Bresnhanan and that every player we acquire in the offseason is on the defensive side of the ball. If our offense is healthy and Palmer can get in rhythm with DMac and Ford next year we can have a very good O. But we need serious changes on D.

I'm not sure the talent is there. Our LBs are pretty bad. Our CBs are pretty bad. Our safeties are ok, Branch and Huff at least. Our D line is good but man they disappeared at times. Getting Shaughnessy back will help.

We have all the talent in the world on offense. They were ranked 9th, top 10 in scoring (?). I think Carson will have a monstrous year next season.

Defensively this team is atrocious. Bresnehan is awful, LB's suck, Routt is avg, Huff & Branch are ok.

We need a lot of changes on D.

I agree Chuck Bresnahan has to go, cost us a few games this year(remember our first loss to Denver? 200+ rushing yards allowed).

Looks like we'll get our wish. Hue feels the same way.

i think routts a lot better than most people give him credit. he does take a few too many penalties though.

admittedly the lb's definitely need to step up in a big way (aside from wimbley). mcclain worries me more than anything. slow, out of position, seems to be jogging all the time...not exactly the traits you want in the anchor of your defense.

have mixed feelings on this. on one hand you cant deny how improved our offense has been the last 2 years, hue is almost single handily responsible for why we are relevant. on the other, the boneheaded calls as head coach were inexcusable and he seemed to not care/notice the mistakes he was making ("yea you kick the point after because we'd be up 13 at that point and i didn't think they would score that much in the amount of time left, it was the right call at the time...") etc. boils my blood to this day.

cant deny hues passion though, seemed like he really bought into the 'raider way' of life, and really wanted to get us somewhere. my feeling is he didnt want to give up his power or his ego rubbed off on mckenzie the wrong way.

best of luck to hue though, i really liked him as an offensive mind.

The bonehead calls get blown way out of proportion. It's his first year as HC. I'd rather have someone that makes aggro calls and fails a bit than a superconservative nit. The fakes were pretty sweet and well designed as well.

What's inexcusable is the boatload of penalties and his involvment in the Palmer deal (lolbad imo).

Still I def feel like keeping him around would have been the way to go especially with Palmer. Oh well let's see who we get

He probably was because I think he realizes his mistake. Maybe he wanted to get ri of Bresnahan, but that's a Jackson guy, and the only way to get rid of Bres is to get rid of Hue. I know this is all speculative bull****, but the only reasoning I could come up with.

Don't think so. Hue would have fired Bres himself if he could have. Bres was gone regardless of Hue. I think it simply had more to do with wanting to start with a clean slate and bring in his own guy.
