really emotional seeing hue at the end of the game....what a huge win

i think that's the last time we'll hear of dhb, lol. this team is loaded with so much talent. secondary is aids without nnamdi tho. if he would have stayed the defense would be much better. like the curry trade, he's still young and he was one of the top prospects coming out, hopefully he turns into the monster he was projected to be.

with an elite QB, this team contends for a SB. it's scary.

Exactly we gave up what a 7th this year and a conditional 5th next yr? With the ridiculous potential curry has I love it. No one had him being under a top 5 overall pick coming out. Jarvis moss has been pretty lights out since coming here and being a former first round 'bust' so hopefully curry has the same fate.

The Curry trade for the Raiders was an absolute steal imo.

4-2 never felt so bad. Really reaalllly hoping we bring someone else in at qb....not on the boller bandwagon whatsoever, hopefully he proves me wrong if he's given the nod. Hopefully pryor can figure it out quickly, but I'm worried about throwing him to the wolves too soon.

I'm down with it. Gotta at last love the aggressive, win now mentality. He'll be in a much better position to succeed than he was in Cincy and he has a lot more upside than Campbell.

First reaction at what we gave up was 'eww' but like you just said, i LOVE this approach hue is taking in general, and am gonna stand by it. Ballsy as hell, but the years of kicking the season into the sand are long gone, now we are playing to win the game! This year was over with boller at the helm, now we've got a real chance.

Also hopefully palmer has a chip on his shoulder and comes out with a fire to prove everyone wrong. Now pryor doesn't get rushed into anything and can sit back and learn. I mean I like potentially 2 first round picks but at what cost? More often than not (especially in oakland) they take a few years to develop and we're built to win now.

I love it, I know we gave up a lot but Carson is not washed up. Dude played with clowns all of last season. Clowntable said he prefers Jason over Carson he even said Jason > Carson & I can't even register that. I think Carson will do very well.

This. DMC is at his prime now and who knows for how long given his injury history. Palmer gives us a chance to win now whereas Pryor or some other draftee could take 2-4 years to develop.

Very happy about the Palmer trade. Might as well take risks at a shot at a championship. QB play determines 50% of a teams success imo.

Btw - let's not gloss over the fact that the Madden Raiders just got pretty sick.

i'm really disappointed in clowntable. i really like his posts & agree with him a lot of the time but he's absolutely being unfair to carson in the weekly thread. i think he eats his words, i think palmer can be borderline elite again.

yea saw those posts as well, to each his own tho. im sure he'd rather eat his words than be right in this scenario.

also really excited about everything im reading about carson. his deep ball/velocity is apparently back to what it was when he was at his best. a lot of people are speculating that he came back too early from the elbow injury in cincy and that would explain the decline.

a bit worried about him starting (if he does) after not being in a real practice in 9 months and learning the offense in 4 days, but i guess it's not hard to hand the ball off to dmc this week.

hate to say it, and really hope im wrong but does anyone get the vibe that theres some major in house turmoil going on since the carson transaction? seems like all the wrs really had campbells back and were really cold when interviewed about it. also the lack of dhb today was mindblowing. hopefully its nothing, but damn losing back to back to the chiefs and tebow at home really stings...

massive game thursday, pretty much defines the season

Speculation on twitter was that DHB was in Hue's dog house for some kind of off field issues. Just speculation though. Not sure what you mean about Carson and the receivers. 330 passing yds and 3 tds is pretty solid. He had good rhythm with Jacoby and was targeting Denarius a ton, which I love.

The real problem is the incredibly inconsistent play of our defense. But what else is new?

Great game all around...really excited for palmer. As much as I love campbell he doesn't make half of those throws. Denarius also looking like he's going to be a very legit 1st option. The sky is the limit on him.

Verrrrry bipolar. Palmer looks legit & Moore is ****ing nasty. IMO we have the most talented wide receiver corp & backfield. They can be scarrrry man!

I don't think the offense is bipolar. Carson gets better and better each week and we have played well offensively for the most part all year. If we can get DMC back and hopefully not lose Jacoby for too long and if Carson and these young receivers continue to click, our O will be scary good.

The D is the bipolar part. No idea what's up with them. The depleted Chargers O line helped us immensely last night.

every week carson gets better & better. he also seems to have his zip back. he is making some incredible throws.

Love Carson. Where was Denarius today? Love seeing Schilens get in the action though. Our D is still a liability.
