Dude, is this really necessary? You don't think it hurts enough that we clearly were one shootout goal away from an obvious trip to the Stanley Cup Finals?

sather has a habit of trying to emulate a team that's coming off a good season. how often did we hear the rangers were trying to be like the devils before the lockout? lol

i think sather is going to get every prospect he can to make the team, pay them all less than a mil so he can sustain his awful contracts to other players, and gloat about how he's the 2011 coyotes or avalanche

So apparently Hank was playing the last month of the regular season with some bothersome knee pain. Lundqvist plans to rest it mostly during the summer, skate 2 or 3 times a week without equipment for a while. He says he'll use cortisone if it persists again next season.

Pavel Valentenko is a 23-year-old defenseman prospect who NY gor in the Gomez deal. His agent announced he'll be coming to North America from the KHL next season, and will be attending the Rangers' summer prospect camp.

Drury and Rozsival only have 2 years left. We're not gonna be contenders or anything so just ride those contracts out.

Prospal also has ****ed up knees now, so his tradition of alternating good years and bad years will probably continue.

In other news, we're trying to re-sign Shelley. Whatever.

There's also rumblings about the Rangers using an alternate jersey next year. Meh.

rozsival can be gotten rid of next year, or even this year. he's paid more than his cap hit, someone will be interested in that. the rangers can take a bad contract back or send prospects with him. i do think the rangers have a chance at contending in 11-12 depending on the way their prospects develop this season.

oooh are the rangers going to bring back lady liberty??
