lol @ niss

You know you aren't leaving this team. I have heard people say it before and they keep coming back season after season to watch.

Given the comments I'm hearing, I sure don't miss the Mets in South Korea.

Nice game guys.
Hopefully I didnt offend any of you guys too much or burn any bridges.

I guess we are all in this together and we need to make the best of it.
Since Omar signed an extension, I suppose he does not get canned.

Lets go Mets.

I offer this as a token of my friendship.

maines first 2 ip: 2 hits 3 runs 4 bb 2 ks 47 pitches
last 4 ip: 1 hit 0 runs 2 bb 5 ks 53 pitches

maine needs to challenge hitters more imo, he tries to paint corners and such a little too much. his fastball is good enough that its ok to throw one right down the middle when not behind in the count

also is it painfully obvious to anyone else that every single time we get to 0-2 or 1-2 count, wharthen has our pitchers under strict rules to throw a high fastball? i wouldnt mind, but its seriously every single time, and barely any hitters fall for it now. i would much prefer a breaking pitch in the dirt every now and then

post game comments seemed pretty upbeat, maine praising his teammates and likewise. winning solves everything.

It's May isn't it? But really Pelfrey and Maine don't worry me so much. But the other turds we'll be throwing out there the rest of the season do. I missed the game last night too. Food poisoning (or perhaps swine flu) FTW!

winning 2 games in turner field would be AWESOME to start off this year against the braves!

That would mean us winning the finale of a series. Good luck!

I have a date to watch Forgetting Sarah Marshall tonight, so I cannot watch the end of tonight's game. I might not even watch the begininng of the game.

I'm loving Beltran and Johan right about now.

If Sheff gets hot look for the team to trade Church. Seriously.

I usually agree with you Mike, but this is absurd.

I could see Omar making this move, it is not a move that I would suggest.

Ya I just trust Omar not dumb enough to have a 40 year old who has not played the outfield regularly in 3 years, who did not pick up a glove in spring traning for the Tigers, and make him the everyday starter. We do need a right handed position player though.

Let me count the ways in which I hate having Murphy sacrifice Reyes.

Never mind, someone else do it.
