Dude,

This literally caused me to laugh out loud. Thanks for adding levity to an otherwise tragic post.

What happened to this team from Friday night to Saturday afternoon?
This loss has blame to pass around, I cannot blame just Ollie although I would like to. Jerry made more "mistakes" managing today imho. The team made fundamental mistakes. That also comes from managing.

Delgado not playing speaks volumes about how badly his hip might feel to him. Nobody from the Mets has given a straight answer as to if he has an injury or if he just needs rest. Its like Willie all over again. Omar and Jerry said one thing, and Delgado said something completely different.

Ollie looked really bad. I felt bad for him because of how flustered he looked. Ken Rosenthal reported during the Fox broadcast that Ollie did not pitch enough during the WBC and that his arm has not become "strong" yet. It looked more to me that he had 0 confidence.

Tim Redding had better have something to offer because it looks like he has a chance to make the rotation.

What do you guys think about having a four man rotation with a fifth spot starter. As an example;

Johan
Pelfrey
Maine
Hernandez
(Figueroa)

Johan
Pelfrey
Maine
Hernandez
(Redding)

Johan
Pelfrey
Maine
Hernandez
(Perez)*
* If minor league assignment goes well, we do not trade, does not commit suicide

Not sure what else we can do with this team. Now Reyes decides he does not want Wright to slump alone, so he decided to slump.

As I said before this series, this team is who it is.
Chances are unless something improves or changes, ownership will completely break up this team. I mean from Omar to the equipment people. Find a new general manager, and let him do what he needs to do with the team. We will not need to worry about Bernazar since he will go with Omar.

Ollie needs to go. if we can workout a trade where we fans can each get a cold glass of water on a hot day, i would snap take it.

here's an article from before the season starts that sums up how bad this signing is, and i think should cost minaya his job

Minaya should have been fired years ago.

Look's like I was right about 3rd Place.

rainouts suck, we really needed to play well and win today

guess that keeps the streak alive of us losing the last game of every series so far this year

I feel opposite. I want a rainout so we don't lose the series.

contrary to what i may seem, ive actually been extremely worried about ollie

it is his mechanics that worries me, and probably not in the way you guys think. its not about his wild delivery and falling all over the place, its the way he throws the ball that imo puts alot of stress on his elbow. there were times last year when his fastball was dipping into the high 80s and this year his velocity is wayyy down. in the past he would occasionally hit 95-96, i have not seen him throw harder than 92 this year which has been rare in itself

if there is any truth to kyleb's work on pitching mechanics (which i do believe) then ollies struggles are very possibly arm related

but i still refuse to change my location!

ESPN supposedly reporting Ollie is going to the bullpen. We can't even get the easy decisions right. Send him to Buffalo!!

oh god you have to be ****ing kidding me, this is such a mickey mouse organization they can't make a single correct decision ... maybe we can follow this up by firing the hitting coach

I mean seriously, the guy needs to go down to get his confidence back, he's expressed a willingness to consent to such a move, having him come out of the pen makes no sense whatsoever ... so cool let's bring him in to the middle of games.

Maybe he hasn't really agreed to be sent down.
