Exactly. And there is no way if this will be the case or not until AFTER he throws it. All you can do is sit on juicy fastball and if its anything else, try to take it, even if its a strike. But if its the zone and hittable you GOT to swing.
I'll admit i don't remember every out today on first pitch swings after walks and where the pitch was, but if its a fastball down the pipe you gotta swing I'm sorry. Yell at Tatis for not hitting it well rather than the fact that he swung imo.
