I like that Hansel Robles blows a game the other night by walking the leadoff guy in the 9th, so of course Terry has him right back out in a tie game in the 9th again, and of course he hits the leadoff guy
We got 5 pieces of crap that hopefully can someday become Josh Smoker for Reed, Duda, and Bruce in a career year... but hey, ya know, the market is down for everyone. Nevermind the fact we're gonna probably go into next season wishing we just offered Duda or Bruce the QO
so as it seems (and i understand all the variables - time of year, contract status, I didn't even really want a single guy back, etc) we traded 4 of our 10 best players - all guys who can easily help playoff pushes - for 5 guys, who in a perfect world enter Spring Training wearing uniform numbers in the 90's, where 1 or 2 squeek out and pitch to a 4 era in middle relief.
But to be fair, we also made a sly little move for Familia's new setup guy who is a stepdown from his predecessor. And make no mistake, AJ Ramos is our 8th inning guy in 2018.

In addition to a dislocation, the Mets say Michael Conforto suffered a posterior capsule tear in his left shoulder. Surgery is an option.
Isn't this what ended Johan Santana's career? Conforto's not a pitcher, but shoulder injuries have been know to destroy the careers of some good hitters.
Since the Yankees decided to be the Yankees, and the winter meetings are coming I guess it's time to break out our own offseason pipe dreams. Where do we start?
