It's hard for me to be too irritated at the team right now considering the patchwork lineup we've had for weeks.

At least the pitching (with the exception of Redding and Putz) has been looking good.

two things in this mini rant:
1. why does it seem like jerry just doesnt get it? when santana is pitching can we please just try to score 1 run at a time, so when the first two guys get on bunt and dont have santos hit into a double play? what is so hard about trying to scratch 1 run out. we dont need a 3 run hr with santana on the mound just try to get 1 especially early. i dont care if you bunt them to 2nd and 3rd and then squeeze, or just pray for a passed ball but you have to score with this ****ty lineup and santana on the mound. also why not start murph over fmart against a lefty? i ****ing hate jerry, he is a clueless **** who continues to cost them games.

2. david wright sux. he clearly mentally cant handle being the guy just like he cant throw when he thinks about it. the guy is 2-25 with a million strikeouts since the whole team went on the dl and we need him most. the difference between him and a pedroia is that when all the sox were hurt last year he stepped up and wright does the opposite. and quotes from jerry about all the strikeouts saying its acceptable if he has power numbers are ridiculous, tell him to choke up and put the ****ing ball in play and then give him a tape of pujols looping the ball to right for an rbi so he gets the ****ing picture.

oh and thank god we have all these injuries i would hate for omar and jerry to have another excuse to keep their jobs when this team doesnt make the playoffs and fades down the stretch

i'm installing a new rule: anyone who feels like complaining about wright, find a wall, and bang your head on it as hard as possible till you no longer feel like complaining about wright. then go jump out the window. seriously this is getting absolutely ******ed

look he is great player but he hasnt shown anything that would lead you to believe he can lead you to a championship. he isnt a chase utley, albert pujols, anybody on those yankee or sox teams. he might be the best 5 hitter in the league but thats all he is, a 5 hitter, he has regressed with his ability to have smart at bats, he is streaky and develops this uppercut with holes in it, he has struggled at home which is either mental with the fans/pressure or is trying to do too much in a big ballpark but treating the guy and people calling him an mvp candidate in the media is ridiculous. the fact is he is the one guy in this lineup that isnt a complete bum right now yet he is playing like a complete bum since they put out a triple a lineup.

i understand teams go through streaks, winning and losing, and injuries happen but it all goes back to the same losing character this team has had for years. they dont step up when they have to and they play stupid lazy baseball.

ok, im sorry im not a ****ing apologist for this team and its "star" but i do know a ****ing boatload more about this team then you, so go have your david wright wet dreams and complain how this team is running bad. this is no different then past years and no changes have been made, other than getting rid of every guy that was known as a good clubhouse guy, the latest example is ramon castro, who was the big prankster, and amazingly they are 1-3 without him. so go defend jerry, omar, and wright just like you defended willie with your blind faith. you ignorant ****,
