Why would anyone waste their time listening to Skip Bayless? What does he have to do/say before you realize that he can't possibly believe anything he says?

there is a tremendous amount of fear and loathing going for a team favored by 6 points @ Mile High vs a team who has won 7/8 and is the top story of the NFL season

Simmons podcast with Cousin Sal was fun this week.

SAL: How many points do you need to be up in the fourth quarter before you're comfortable versus Tebow?

SIMMONS: With *our* defense? If we're up ten with four minutes to go, I'm petrified...the Redskins just moved up and down the field on us this week...Dante Stallworth can't do anything except run in a straight line, and we were still helpless to defend him...I'm not even joking when I say that Julian Edelman might be our best defensive back...he's our "lockdown corner", it's Edelman Island!

I know most of you hate Simmons, but come on, "Edelman Island" is a funny line.

I can't find it online anywhere, but the usually-worthless Sports Science segment on SportsCenter tonight showed Gronkowski's first big tackle-breaking play on the right sideline, and why dragging defender #1 increased his momentum, making it harder for defender #2 to stop him!

(I stopped watching Sports Science when they claimed that Drew Brees was more accurate with a football than an Olympic archer is with an arrow, without allowing for the fact that the archer was 50+ yards further away from the target; and claiming a softball is thrown with more "force" than a baseball--the softball actually broke the device on the target that measure force--without mentioning that a softball weighs a lot more than a baseball.)

Chung back in a walking boot Monday and missed practice today. Ugh, really bad news for the playoffs if he doesnt make it back. Wonder what's going on here, he warmed up for the Jets game and 6 weeks later still isnt back.

If i was brady I would walk off the field and refuse to be part of this team, this defense is atrocious.
As i say this looks like carter tore his ACL ffs.

Not a huge shock, but Carter's agent tweeted he's probably having surgery and done for the year

Good start in San Diego. Might be a Niner win away from a one seed (assuming no loss to the Dololphins or Buffalolol

Just plug in some random scrub and we're good to go. Seems to be working at every other position.

This team tilts me to no end. We look like absolute shat on D for good stretches of the game, have several GOAT-like offensive drives, manage some kind of turnover, then get the put-away score leaving every Pats fan walking away excited and annoyed about a win at the same time.

at least we're not Ravens fans! or Texans fans!

crazy considering all the hand wringing but we now have to be the favorite for the #1...I think. or a big fav for a bye, which is a huge deal

Don't know how you can be annoyed at that win. I mean yeah, watched the first three drives on d too, but won easily on the road against a first place team that won six of seven in a place that's historically been a complete house of horrors. Even got a Houston loss to make us heavy favorites for the bye (and later a raven loss putting us right in the one seed discussion). I'd rather win 52-3, but that was about as good a Sunday gets

Mostly being sarcastic. I'm pretty much consigned to loving the offense and hating the defense after every game no matter the result.

Lets not forget the Jets lost too which is always fun.

Now that I think about it 4 of the top 6 AFC playoff seeds coming into today lost dammmm....put some ground between us and the pack imo

Also, Chim is super mad about losing to such a historically bad defense with Tebow on a roll in the first half. So uncharacteristic for them to commit costly turnovers and let scrubs beat the Tebows.
