Pathetic tackling with the game on the line.

Re: Minnesota Vikings - Pondering Suicide

Some of it was pathetic tackling, but Starks 2nd first down was a really well designed play.

Re: Minnesota Vikings - Pondering Suicide

Sherrells makes some really bad decisions as a PR. I wonder why we dont have Camarillo returning punts.

That last punt by us was like throwing in the towel.

That was another winnable game.

i mean, we had a shot in the dark. i'd say "that was a winnable game" is stretching it, but yes the punt was cowardly and hurt our already tiny chances.

I'm not saying we should have won. The odds were against us, but if a few things would have gone our way, that could have been a win.

Yea, if not for the "never bet road faves" sports betting mantra, I would have been all over GB up to -16 or so before the game. So good show IMO.

they were one drive away from winning it so it was definitely winnable. But really most games are winnable in the NFL.

Re: Minnesota Vikings - Pondering Suicide

That was a pretty solid rookie debut. Decent arm strength, great accuracy even on the move, and good quickness. For once I agreed with Aikman that his errors were in underestimating Woodson's all-pro ability to break on balls, and that's something that will get better with NFL experience. This at least makes me somewhat optimistic that we could have a young, stable QB to build around.

Would have been so hilarious if we could have stolen that game.

Re: Minnesota Vikings - Pondering Suicide

I really liked that after he threw 2 INTs to Woodson he same that same out to Shiancoe with Woodson covering him and placed it perfectly. It's obviously just one play, but I love that he isn't afraid to go back there and he learned from his mistake and put it in a spot where Woodson couldn't get it.

Re: Minnesota Vikings - Pondering Suicide

yeah he is obviously a rookie and will make some rookie mistakes, but he seems fearless, in control and is very smart. He learned from that mistake on the fly. His arm seems plenty strong. He not only has very good mobility, he has that sense as to where the pressure is coming from. I think we have a good one here. It should be fun watching this kid develop.

Ponder has looked promising so far. I don't think it's a mistake Adrian had his best game in a year and change. Came up big on 3rd time and time again. Love how he uses his mobility.

I thought the center play was improved with Sullivan out.
