Saw a Gleeman tweet saying that KAT is 61st in usage of all people who play 25+ MPG.

That seems like a total underutilization of him.

I know it's a tough go against Dwight (who always crushes KAT) so I forgive only having 10 shots last night, but it's still concerning to see.

19th, 8th, 26th

Hopefully Teague and Bjelly heal fast. A Tyus Jones/Aaron Brooks PG rotation is not gonna get it done.

I have a feeling SRS probably overrates the Wolves too because we've had a knack for playing teams without their best players (Suns without Booker, Heat without Whiteside, Jazz without Gobert, Warriors without Durant, Pacers without Turner).

Tyus looked great with the starters. I think he might be better with the starters than Teague. Tyus and KAT seem to have good chemistry, as opposed to Teague and KAT which is pretty toxic (Teague can't/won't throw post-entry passes). I dunno, it sounds like Teague will be out for a while so we'll have lots of opportunities to amend this take.

Yeah I wouldn’t mind Tyus starting and Teague running the second unit.

Oh man losing to the Wizards without Wall.

Bench was god awful. Missing Bjelly and Tyus but still. Poor Gorgui having to play with Brooks, Bazz and Crawford.

We were the worst 4th quarter team in the league coming in and looked awful in the 4th again.

Gorgui was awesome.

Tyus > Teague

Also Wiggins had a great game, even ignoring the hot shooting. He made so many plays on the defensive end.

This team is hard to watch. A bunch of guys that clearly don't like each other playing super ugly, slow basketball. And we let injured scrub teams get layup after layup.

Sometimes you just run into the buzzsaw that is James Ennis III

Worst 4th quarter team in the league yet again.

I feel like Kat has been a big disappointment so far this year. Even though I don't think he has been used properly and put in the right position, his offensive game seems out of whack. And on the defensive end it is just continuous awfulness. He gives up so many offensive rebounds and is out of position all the time.

Had dope seats for last night because no one in LA cares about either team. Team is so frustrating, but it was nice to see Jimmy just take control in a key spot down ths stretch.

So you had a first hand view of Kat give up what seemed like 8 offensive rebounds to deandre jordan in the 4th?

I only watched for about 5 or 10 minutes last night because of the bold (and because it was a late game). We dont move the ball or our feet on offense most of the time and we dont try on defense most of the time. This team has lots of talent but little heart aside from Butler and Gibson.

Yeah I'm happy that the team is actually relevant for the first time in 15 years but I really don't like watching them play. Thibs sucks, Wiggins sucks, Karl seems to be minimalized on offense with the addition of Teague and Jimmy which sucks because he could be a beast on that end of the floor

Drove me insane. That’s actually part of what I’m referencing. Jimmy skied in and prevented yet another oReb for DAJ.

This is where i am. We've had unwatchable bad teams and fun bad teams but i can't ever remember a good-decent TWolves team that sucks to watch. It's really unbelievable to me that we had the #5 offense in the NBA; our offense looks terrible nearly all the time (coach that yells 'Green' is gonna go through a lot of throat lozenges this season). I guess our incredible offensive talent and playing MASH units is carrying us. We've played teams missing their best players in 13 of our 26 games, which is nuts.

Question for all:
If you could fix the Wolves, what would you do?

I feel like some sort of option surrounding trading Wiggins for pieces that help the remaining core is my answer. Anything to give KAT/Jimmy more usage. I think it is unacceptable that both are right around 23%.

Just not sure if Wiggins can help a team get to the next level.

I would love to trade Wiggins if we could get useful players in return, but I doubt he has any significant trade value since he signed that new max contract.

Can I fire Thibs?

Probably an over reaction but outside getting Butler nothing he has done as GM or coach has really impressed me so far

Agree I have watched fewer games this year than any year in the last 20. I just don't really like the team and it's not fun to watch them. I don't actively dislike them or hope they lose or anything; I just don't care to watch.

Thibs can't be fired because we have Butler's Unrestricted Free Agency bearing down on us. Thibs is the only reason he'd re-sign.

Given Butler's age and likely contract I'm not sure whether that is a positive or a negative

Can't believe how little Jeff Teague tries on D.
