Bledsoe is a nice player when he's healthy. Rubio is coming off the best few month stretch of his career. Aside from all that, I dont know if PHO would do it and I dont know if we would either.

This is a good read on the subject: http://www.canishoopus.com/2017/5/8/...of-ricky-rubio

Or instead we could actually talk about players, rather than sort by a specific stat (particularly given that there is no singularly accepted publicly available stat in basketball analytics).

I can start though: which ones of the following are worse than Rubio?

(listed by last appearance this season)
Steph
Kyrie
IT2
Wall
Lowry
Harden
CP3
Conley
Lillard
Westbrook
George Hill

I would like to state that I'm a Rubio fan,

But I'd add:
Kemba
Dragic
Bledsoe
Teague
Schroeder

OK so give me a list of players who have more impact showing how you are calculating their impact rather than their individual numbers.

#7 + Rubio for Eric Bledsoe would be a terrible trade.

Rubio for Bledsoe is not quite even value and the #7 in this great draft is worth a lot.

so you think Rubio has more value, and is viewed as a better player than Eric Bledsoe?

No i think: Bledsoe - Rubio <<< #7

Like 54 - 49 << 66

It's a small upgrade and not worth paying anything close to the 7th pick for. (and i made those number up, don't try to read too much into them. Imo #7 is the most valuable of the 3 assets)

Lol at this guy coming in and hating on Rubio. Seems anyone that doesn't actually watch the Wolves games all hate on Rubio. I hear it all the time from casual NBA fans, or fans of other teams.

Hating on Rubio? I watch 40+ Wolves games a year. Like I previously stated I actually like Rubio. Hes a great passer, facilitates and runs the offense well. Is a good rebounder and jumps passing lanes well. However he is a horrible, historically poor shooter who the opponent gives absolutely no respect to for his shot.

And thats not what bothers me most about Rubio's game. What bothers me most is his inability to finish when he drives to the basket. Its Rubio driving and then kicking it out, usually to someone in the corner behind the 3 point line.

Rubio is what he is at this point in his career which is an average to below average starting point guard.

And Rubio has a bigger impact than a few of those players so now that is settled we can move on

Did you see the last half of last season or only the first half?

You already moved on once you decided you were going to sort by a stat. Which is cool, I guess, but it adds nothing.

I asked which players. If you can't answer (or are unwilling to) that probably says something about your argument.

Here, I'll prod you along: ESPN's RPM had Rubio ahead of John Wall last year. Do you believe that this "settle[s]" the issue that Rubio is better than Wall? Because that's certainly a piping hot take and your tone plus that take equals a hilarious amount of lols.

Ill put more stock in the previous 320 games hes played, than the last 33. If he plays like he did the last 2.5 months last year going forward than, obviously he would be a better player than a lot of the other PGs I mentioned.

Call me crazy, but I think he will revert back closer to how he played the previous 5.5 seasons, than how he played in February and March.

Rubio is fine. There's no pressing need to get rid of him.

I dont think you're crazy at all. I think in most cases, when a player goes through a hot streak like that, he probably would revert to the way he played previously. I dont think that's what will happen with Rubio though. Something changed with him that looks to me like the light bulb in his head went on with regards to shooting. Regardless of who's right on this subject, he's still a pretty good player with a pretty good contract and I am pretty sure we would not get equal or better value in return for him in any trade, so I want to keep him.

I don't understand why the wolves would be interested in derrick rose. I don't like these rumors at all.
