I have no idea if frank will be a good nba player or not but if the Bucks draft him I think it will be good for the team -- it could get the whole state behind the Bucks, support for the new arena, and put lots of fans in the stands. From a PR standpoint I think it would be extremely beneficial, from a long-term competitive standpoint I have no idea, nor do I have any idea on how players expected to be available for the Bucks compare. If when it is the Buck's turn and if the available players rate closely, I think Frank is a no-brainer. He also obviously has a better work ethic than players like Larry Sanders so how knows what he could develop into? A big guy in the middle is one of our biggest needs too. Dekker does not have nearly the same celebrity value.

If they reach for either player I agree that would be bad.

Agreed. But, in a year or so, hopefully giannis or Parker become dominant enough that he's our sweet shooting "all star snub."

Definitely have to keep mids, since they traded away knight.

prepare to be shocked.

he was the best player on the roster this year and they almost got out of the 1st round. he can easily be the 2nd best player on a championship team if he improves his handle.

hes one of the best defenders in the league. he shoots well from outside. hes 23 and will get better.

Bucks would be smart to talk with Middleton early and try to lock him up for 10m/yr or something, bcus yeah on open market he will get max or close to it.

Bucks at 17...I'd be okay with Frank but doubt he falls.

We need shooters imo to compliment giannis and mcw, weather its a stretch 4 or a true shooting 2 guard that's what we need

I doubt he'll accept that deal, but have to try anything. They'll probably go after a guy and then match whatever it is.

I haven't looked at the upcoming FA, but who or what should we be targeting? Always in need of decent big men. Another shooter in case mids isn't kept? Any chance they try to trade mcw and a pick to move up?

Because of the overachieving season, I don't know how to treat this offseason. Just let our youngens get better and draft bpa? No need to break the bank on mediocre FA anymore though. So I'm ok keeping things as is vs trying to pretend we're contenders already.

i guess i am in the minority in that i don't think middleton should get more than $12m per year, maybe i am missing something but i think everyone's hopes for giannis and jabari to be really good next year are a little unrealistic. i love giannis but he has a ton of work to do and is a long way away from being an all star player.

as far as the draft goes i feel like the bucks want devin booker or rj hunter and all signs are point to booker being a top 10 maybe top 12 pick so i think rj hunter will be the pick is available. i hope they just take the best player on the board though and try to sign a shooter in free agency. there are a lot of long athletic guys that fit the build the bucks are looking for that will likely be available at 17 like portis, lyles, and looney

I pretty much agree with everything concerning parker, giannis and the draft. We have a good thing going now. So many times before, they've blown it. Just a little worried now! Ha.

wisconsin is in an interesting spot right now because they are in the process of cutting the education budget by about $300 million and the bucks are looking for $150 million from the state, i think.

i was optimistic about the team staying in milwaukee when they got the new owners but now i don't know, i feel it's 50/50 stay or go

The colors and new logo are pretty reminiscent of Sonics colors/old logos... and, they could become the Seattle Starbucks. Hahahaha... I know I'll gladly pay a tax to keep them here, as the area downtown is so perfect for an overhaul and badly needed.

Probably is 50/50 and will come down to the wire. Sucks.

i just think the league desperately wants a team in seattle and the bucks might be expendable being so close to chicago

With how much money Kohl, and the new owners are throwing in for a new arena plus sponsorship deals ($500M+) the state cannot allow an almost paid for arena/team to just leave the state. It is barely costing the state anything as it is to just get the deal done, long-term it would cost the state more money to not get this done. Just the expected income tax on the Buck's salaries covers the gap and should make this a no brainer.

Bucks are staying. The landscaping project for new arena is already underway.

Rj Hunter would be nice but I think he'd be a massive reach at our spot.

i hope they stay and i agree about hunter, but they have made it a point in all their interviews that they want a shooter (which i think is a mistake)

pick up a veteran shooter in free agency and draft more athletic wings

id love to draft booker if he falls to us, but i doubt it.

i see us having 3 options in the draft, I'll list them in my preferred order:
1) Big man that can protect the paint - aka Larry Sanders
2) Wing Shooter - Booker or Hunter would be great, but our pick doesn't fit either as Booker will be off the board and Hunter isn't valued that high
3) A PG - only if Kidd isn't enamored with MCW, but I think he is.

I really want Booker, but looks like he might go top 10.

Besides the top obvious two, I feel like everyone will go higher than expected. Foresee a lot of trades happening too.

Idk anything about next year's crop, but could this be the last batch for awhile? Better get your man.

Go bucks.

I think every draft is going to look good. Kids are just too athletic these days. It's all about who continues to work after college/being drafted to make it

WE GET TO SEE THE NEW JERSEYS TODAY!

I hope they don't suck...

I hope they go for a old school type feel, just my opinion.
